INDEX

[NI9083] Thomas renewed his Covenant at Fairfield Church, 26 Aug 1705. He removed to Wallingford, Meriden Parish, by 1739, and by 1750 returned to Stratfield. In 1742 he, then "of Wallingford", bought land in Killingworth, which he conveyed that same year to his son David. Thomas and his sons owned land in Stratford and different parts of Fairfield, some of which was in what afterwards became the town of Easton. His will was undated, and probated 6 Dec 1757. Will names wife Hannah, sons Ebenezer, Thomas and David, daughters Elizabeth wife of Thomas Lee, Hannah wife of John Porter, Eunice wife of David Hubbell, Mary wife of Thomas Wheeler, Tabitha wife of Benjamin Andrews, Tamar wife of Ebenezer Hubbell, and Sarah Andrews (a widow), grandson Joseph Andrews (a minor).

[NI9084] On 1 July 1737 she was mentioned as daughter Hannah Sanford in the distribution of the estate of Mary Stevens of Killingworth. Jacobus reports that Hannah's gravestone says she died 18 May 1755 in her 75th year. Her husband's undated will, proved 6 December 1757, names her Executrix. The stone may have been misread, but it is equally possible that she died before her husband and someone else actually served as Executor of the will.

[NI9082] THE STRATFIELD (PEQUONNOCK) BURYING GROUNDS, STRATFIELD, CT - d this life Octob ye 28th, 1763, in ye 61st year of her age.

[NI11189] Settled in Stratford, CT. Will dated 12 Apr 1767, proved 11 May 1767, names wife Abiah, brothers Ebenezer and David, sisters Eunice Hubbell, Tabitha Andrews, Tamar Hubbell.

[NI11194] Resident of Wallingford (Meriden) and North Killingworth. Moved to Warwick, NY about 1764.

[NI11198] Married an Andrews (possibly Joseph.)

[NI11201] She joined the Meriden Church 26 Jul 1741.
