This font uses the extended character set (extra characters that you can make beyond those found on your keyboard. To make long and short vowel symbols, locate your "ALT" key which is to the left of the space bar. Using the table below, hold down the "ALT" and type each of the number combinations using the number pad on the right side of your keyboard. Lift up the ALT key at the end of each combination.

As with any font, this font may not "work" on some systems and in some programs. People operating Windows XP seem to be having many font problems. There is nothing that you can really do, if a font does not work for you, except try it on another system that is characteristically different than yours.
