 | Martial Arts 'Life Story' of Jason/Samantha Kilgore Biography of Sensei Jason Kilgore 12/14/2001 by: Jason Kilgore I was first started on my venture by mistake with my father Captain John Kilgore, at about the age of 3-4. It all started with basic boxing and wrestling moves that were delivered as fun games. . I would attempt to mimic what I viewed from him. We typically got together two times a week, rarely three times. With my size and strength increasing we went from somersaults on the bed to minor acrobatics out on the lawn. Incorporating basic falls, moves with fighting techniques in a very primitive manner on the lawn. At about the age of sixin 1977, I was enrolled in an Okinawa Karate class under recommendation of my father and Sense. This gave me some basic martial art fundamentals with regards to concepts, basics, blocks, strikes, kicks and kata to further enhance my abilities. From there great things came and my training continured on in Karate/Kobudo, Jujitsu, Kenpo and . In 1995, Jason Kilgore received his yondan in Karate, Jujitsu, Kenpo and it was then that his daughter Samantha E. Kilgore started her training under her father and grandfather in Kenpo, Boxing, Hanbojutsu. In 2001 RENSHI Kilgore had accomplished what many have not. John Kilgore Biography of Samantha Kilgore Samantha Kilgore, started her training in KKS Chinese Kenpo, Hanbojutsu, Arnis, wrestling from her father and grandfather in June of 1995 at the age of four years old. Samantha Kilgore is a third generation Kilgore family martial artist/practitioner. She has trained and been recommended to train under four instructors of her fathers to pass on the Kilgore family legacy. Samantha Kilgore was awarded her Brown Belt I in KKS Chinese Kenpo, Brown Belt in Arnis and her Level 5 Instructors License in Hanbojutsu. Samantha Kilgore has been studying martial arts seven years. |  |
