When it comes to self defense, there is many things a person has to remember when picking a school. Teacher, effectiveness of their program, clean area, what they have to offer, how long program takes and qualifications of the teacher. If they promise you a black belt in two years, stay away. It seems that lots of schools have to do this to survive. Then you end up with white belt wearing a black belt.
