McKeown, Chester County, SC
I think this is the area the Banks settled.  Note the town called Banks.  The immigrant Sam Banks is buried at Concord Presbyterian Church on the east side of the Winnsboro Chester Highway (US 321) in Woodward.  Woodward is shown below.

This is part of the Map of SC in the 1931 "New Census Atlas of the World".  This gif shows from Chester to Winnsboro, including McKeown in Chester County SC.  (McKeown is still shown on county maps, but I know of no current state map showing McKeown.) You are looking at an edited, 58,173 byte gif (with contrast increased & then reduced to 16 colors, then colors edited (merged), then pixels edited in places) of the original 600 dpi scan.  Click on the above map to see all of the 600 dpi scan of all of Chester & Fairfield County from which the above gif was created, (unedited except for increasing contrast & reducing to 16 colors -- 582,723 byte gif).
