Subject: Re: [Carver] Carvers of Coffee Co. GA

Sorry James,
I guess I am the lost Carver kin in Ware County who has not submitted her genealogy. I apologize as I have been working on several lines at the same time and that is quite an undertaking.

I descend from Sampson Carver (m. Rhoda Edmondson) as follows: His sons Sampson Braswell Carver (m. Sarah Bourn) and Samuel Carver (m. Sarah Peterson); their children respectively were William "B" Carver and Rhoda Carver who married, their son William Carver, Jr. (m. Lucretia Dawson); his son Walter Garfield Carver (m. Lou Veanie Rollins), his daughter Ida Odessa Carver (m. Carl Thomas Beasley). Odessa's oldest son Elbert "Buddy" Beasley (m. Mary Frances Crosby) are my parents.

Also from my mother's side is another son of Sampson, Jesse Carver (m. Boissy??), his daughter Susan Carver (m. William Wright), her son is Seaborn Wright (m. Harriet Sears), his daughter is Lourania Wright (m. Hardy Crosby), their son is my maternal grandfather Henry Crosby (m. Lunette Mizell). That makes me a descendant of three of his sons.

I am married to Hilton Emory Markette, who hails from Coffee County. His parents are Augustus Emory Markette, Jr. and Hilda Mizell. His family surnames are Harper, Lott, Markette, Mizell, Paulk, Roberts, Vickers, White, Williams... We have two son's Hilton Emory Markette II and Hayden Augustus Markette. This may be more than you wanted, but I have learned that sharing these names with others may help in researching our ancestors.

Please let me know if you need any other information. Again, sorry I did not get back to this.
