This is a beautiful poem my husband wrote for me
THE BEAUTIFUL BIRD IN THE TREE
Life ?
What do people see ?
The world would look upon a large field .
In the middle was a very large tree .
In the tree was a very small
but very beautiful bird .
All the world saw the tree .
Most of the world looked no further .
Because of there first impressions
they did not see the beautiful bird .
I feel sad for them and know the world would be
a much more beautiful place
if everyone could see the beautiful bird .
Only those few people saw
the beautiful bird .
I feel happiness and joy for those few .
I hope I will always see
the beautiful bird .
