Sillabub and Jemima are usually thought of as the same cat. Sillabub was used instead of Jemima for Broadway in the USA, while in the UK Jemima was used. However, very rarely Jemima and Sillabub are in the same production, for example in the Japanese production, and Sillabub is golden rather than black and white. If this happens, Sillabub does the 'Memory' solos and Jemima is a swing. Fans often use Sillabub as a nickname for Jemima.
Carbucketty was in the first UK production in London 1981. When the production was put on in the USA in 1982, Carbucketty's name was changed to Carbuckety, with one T instead of two. Sometimes Pouncival and Carbuckety are thought to be the same Cat with two names, like Sillabub/Jemima - this is not true! They are separate Cats, sometimes both in the same performance - they look very similar.
