Jemima is a very sweet-natured and loving Cat. She is the one who helps Grizabella be accepted back into the Jellicle Tribe. Like the other kittens, she loves the Rum Tum Tugger and can be seen hanging around him and getting excited during his song! Tugger seems to have a soft spot for her - although he dances with Bombalurina, he often goes to Jemima and plays with her a bit. Jemima is also seen with Alonzo, who is her mate in many stage productions.
In the Moments of Happiness, Jemima is the only one who understands what Old Deuteronomy means. She sings to help the other Cats understand what happiness is, too. Jemima is always a beautiful soprano.

Jemima has two basic looks. Usually, she looks a lot like Demeter, black with red and white hints. However in Japan, she is called Sillabub and she is golden. Read about this name-confusion here.
