8:17 PM — Well, what a surprise. I spent the day vegging out in front of the computer and playing in front of the playstation. As usual.

Okay, so when I planned on having summer vacation, this was what I mostly expected. But I also expected to go to at least more than one mall this summer, and go to the zoo and the botanical gardens and all the fun places I went to on field trips with my science class, but this time get to be there the whole day.

Well, I've only been to my local mall so far and plans to go to the Zoo this month have been cancelled TWICE thanks to shoddy repairmen and a Freon leak.

Maybe full-year schooling wouldn't be such a bad idea after all.

3:09 PM — I don't get why Friday the 13th is considered so unlucky. 

For one thing, it's very lucky for me. I get work done in advance, I complete something in my video game, etc. etc. For the second, bad shit happens all the time; what makes it any more unlucky if it happens then?

And who said it was unlucky at all? Is it like the black cat phenomenon, where black cats were seen as evil by colonial Americans in an attempt to snub the English, who considered white cats unlucky?

Or was the day just invented to keep the super-superstitious away from the rest of the world once a year?

11: 54 PM — I've started keeping a dream journal today (no, you can't read it!) And I'm getting some rather weird results. At least it's not as weird as the "Hitler and the carrots" dream, but still...

5:17 PM — Okay, so I didn't get to go to Zoo Atlanta, But at least this time they fixed the damn A/C. 

I also got my library card (FINALLY!) and I showed my sis where she could get cheap sushi at the mall — six California rolls for $2.99.

July 10,

3:09 PM — Wonderful. The dentist just told me that I have a cavity which needs to be filled at the end of the month, and that my wisdom teeth are showing up on the X-ray.

11:12 AM —  NOT AGAIN!!! The repairmen are back, and now it looks like I won't get to go to Zoo Altanta tomorrow . . . they pulled this crap two weeks ago, and they've done it again . . .
