I've been reading The Heart is a Lonely Hunter for my summer assignment, and I must say 'could the schools have picked a worse book?'

I mean, okay, so it's readable, but it's not a book that you devour in one sitting. The fourth Harry Potter Book? Four days flat. Mick Foley's Foley is Good? Seven nights.

This book that has been tainted by becoming a school assignment? who knows how long that'll take...

I got my new gym court shoes today.

Maybe for most people, shoe shopping is a cinch. That's probably why they have so many in the closets. However, she shopping for me involves trying on lots of pairs to see what fits. Thst's because unlike most people, I have no arches in my feet, which means any shoe with an arch is uncomfortable.

Thankfully, after trying on only ten different pairs, I found some keds with no arch whatsoever and enough heel support to be comfortable.

Yay! I found the Epil-Stop & Spray body hair remover at Linens & Things!

For those of you who don't like getting rid of hair, it's a spray-on depillatory that doesn't stink and is easier to apply.

Now if it only removed hair like it was supposed to...

BLEAH!

I was supposed to have volleyball practice today. Two weeks before school begins and I'm already practicing for a school team. Yeah, I can't believe the summer's ending so fast either. 

Anyway, I didn't have all of my paperwork in order — everything was good except for the fact that I hadn't had a physical in 2 1/2 years. So the pediatrics office wouldn't sign for me that I was healthy, and without the form I couldn't do volleyball.

SO guess how long I have to wait until the doctor tells me what I already know — next monday. 

One again, BLEAH!

No more recording the time of the writings down to the minute. It was cute in the beginning, but now since I'm making times up anyway, it's no longer worth it.

Myrror introduced me to Neopets today. Okay, so it was more of a re-introduction than anything, since I once had an Aisha named Weaver and a Shoyru named Tepi there, and then deleted my account completely because I grew sick of the place. And now I've decided to move back.

That said, meet my new pet, Sawri the Eyrie. She's the big silver and white blotch sitting under the journal archive links.
