11:13 PM — In between finishing my Geometry project, helping my sis organize the crap in her room, and fumbing with an Eastern Dragon origami diagram, I really haven't done much. I need to work on my Monaco brochure and my Europe map.

May 18,

10:09 PM — Well, I went to my reflection winners reception, took a few pictures, partook in a few of the mall stores... and glanced eyes on my drawing, which I had not seen in roughly six months. At least now I know that I was the only double winner at county, although neither went to state.

Forgot to ask when I would EVENTUALLY get it back, however.

For the rest of the school, I placed in Literature with Marcus-tor (who also won at state: he's got the cutest little trophy that I'm so jealous of), I was the only one from dunwoody to win at Visual Arts, no one won in photography, and Rebecca and Robin won in music (robin also won at state), and nobody won at nationals.

Also, when I finally switched out of tampons to pads, I had cramps. it's the third day of my period— cramps should be only the first and second days, not the third! What gives?

9:46 PM — Well, Jamie's concert tonight was a lot shorter than I expected. Of course, disappearing on her as soon as 'Instant Concert' was over didn't help either.

Now, tomorrow's going to be the clincher — that reception'll take all afternoon for me.

First Blood

10:43 PM — I just came back from the three-hour long variety show at school. I sat with Jamie while watching the show. I also purchsed a $10 CD from a band that performed that night, with one of the school's teachers in it.

If I knew that the CD was subtle christian rock, I would've thought twice about doing that. It's not that I have anything against the stuff— It's just that I do not like jamming to a good chord and being told I'm going to hell at the same time.

4:37 PM — 

I'm cleaning up my bed; I'm boxing away 
all those beanie babies I don't care to sleep with anymore.
I'm fixing my bedsheets, hoping that the elastic didn't break;
I'm smoothing one blanket, putting the other in the closet.
Tossing old patchwork pillows on the top shelf of the closet.
Throwing everything that I don't want to see in the closet
or at least the stuff that I don't to see on a daily basis.

11:07 PM — I started working on my next big set of creatures, the knucks. I can't give away all of the details, but they're a cross between parrots and hoatzins. I've got the graphics halfway done.

5:52 PM — We watched Dead Poet's Society today in English (we started it on Monday when the teacher was absent), and I put the finishing touches on my Geometry floor plan.

God help me; I started watching Friends, and I actually like it.

8:31 PM — Well, today was awfully good day. I worked on my newly revised floor plan for my geometry project (the old one nearly had me in tears) and I watched a good episode of RAW. Not bad at all.

Well... okay, that's not everything.

We had progress reports today — Barely all As, thanks to my latest quiz (a Fucking 68! And that's Fucking with a capital F!), and I didn't get my progress report in English. The good news is, if I do well on the math test thursday, she'll raise my quiz grade to match my test. Wish me luck...

9:20 PM — Woke up early, got myself some new sandals, had oven-baked pizza for lunch, did all my homework for tomorrow and hopefully will make all needed corrections to my term paper tonight.
