Gel-Pen Journals are journals on black backgrounds that use lots of pastels (and often), use plenty of doodles and such, and most importantly, use words.

I just came back from the SWE event, and I swear that I absoutely fell in love with Tech College (not saying which Tech, but just Tech). I mean, YES, there were computers everywhere, but that was beside the point. O.o It just looked more innovative... and the stuff was stuff that I could easily get interested in. Everything except Civil Engineering, mebbe... there's no way I'm working in a poop processing plant.

Anyway, we got a good campus experience... ate traditional college cuisine (NOTE: Donuts and coke for breakfast, pizza and coke for lunch) Had a mixer, a mental flexibility Me Happycontest (I won it hands-down— I'd seen all of those quiz questions before) and a building contest to see who could build the tallest balloon tower. I won the flexibility contest and got a cute calculator for my troubles, and my group would have won the balloon tower contest, but ours fell over too late for us to fix it. Ah well— at least I won something. I also got a little flashlight keychain.

All in all, it was pretty damn cool. And I've still got a sleepover later tonight. ^_^

No new bids on the Jasper as of late.  *shrugs*

Well, today I got an OVERDOSE of subs. A sub for PE, a sub for Health (Well, they're usually taught by the same teacher, so it figures), a sub for Science, and a sub for Math. That's 2/3s of my classes taught by subs, people.

GROWWL!Consequently, I have a dearth of homework, except for... oh, SHIT! I just remembered that I have to do notes and vocab for Ch. 7 Geography this weekend, and I left my book at school... *whines* The Kittyphile won't like this...

*sigh* so much for a trouble-free weekend.

Rule # 1 of School: Never forget your freaking homework! I'd done mine, but left it at home, and still paid the price as if I'd done nothing at all. Ah... School's a Bitch, isn't she?

In other news, I got to send off a carnation to my crush in science class. I decided, "To hellMe Happy with his supposed girlfriend— I'm doing this!" I also took a orientation course on the weight room machines at my Community Center - $10 to get the class, and I can now pump iron, sweat bullets, and watch WWF in the upper room. They also had some machines that allowed you to surf the net whilst exercising, but I haven't tried those ones yet.

Finally, to sum the day up, people finally started bidding on my Jasper. I'm up to 200g... life, as I know it, is now good.

February 7, 2001

Well, I've just beeen invited to a SWE (Society of Women Engineers) one-day event for this Sat. I think they could've given me more than three days notice, y'know?

It's just an event that my teacher was sponsoring and that I thought would be a good idea... so I can't complain. It's a one-day thing, anyhow.

Me SadIn Auction news... Only Myrror has bid on my Jasper. No one either cares to look, or else everyone thinks that my Jasper sucks.

February 6, 2001

Me fineWell, I just put the Jasper up for auction. Let's see if he sells. In the meantime, I'll be writing Part 5 of Spyro Prime.

You should've seen Grimmy's face when she saw that Jasper! *thinks* well, I wish I could see ANYBODY'S face through AIM for that matter.

Me... me...Is it possible to have a long-lost twin determined only by personality? A twin that wasn't your religion, your race, or even lived in the same state as you? Just someone that you could talk to for a few minutes, and you just somehow KNEW that the two of you were operating on the same wavelength?

Well, there better be; I think Grimmy's mine. Read the AIM conversation below, and you'll see what I mean.

Jekkal286: *POUNCE*

Bell AH1 Cobra: ACK!

Jekkal286: Update your journal or else I will pounce you pounce you pounce YOU!!!

Bell AH1 Cobra: O_O EEEK! Okay! Okay! Wow, you're actually interested in my weird little life?

Jekkal286: Yours is sad and weird, but at least you write in such a way that it's black humor. Blue is just depressing.

Bell AH1 Cobra: Yay. ^_^

Jekkal286: You're too much like me already, and that is damn scary.

Bell AH1 Cobra: Mwahahaha. I know. I'm just... Me. I don't know who I am, but I do know that I'm weird, and I do know I like masturbation and violence. Oh, wait, that'd make me male. Um.

Jekkal286: TWINS!!!! Frigging and wrestling forever!

Bell AH1 Cobra: O_O LONG-LOST SISTAH!

Jekkal286: *HEH*

Bell AH1 Cobra: I wanna be a mortician. Or a Pathologist. x.x; Dead people don't argue. XD

Jekkal286: I've got to get offline for a while... I'll save this conversation and go enter it in my journal later. ttyl?

Bell AH1 Cobra: Sure, seeya!

I've got a cake hangover. Mostly I spent my day yesterday shopping around with my dad for birthday gifts (he thinks that if he does it this way, I'll get what I REALLY want), eating my meals at two restaurants that I normally don't get to eat at (Fuddruckers and Mellow Mushroom), and I got some cool gifts, amoing them a copy of Mick Foley's Have a Nice Day and a Pouch Beanie Buddy.

Man, I did a lot of plugging in that first paragraph, didn't I? Well... eh.

Me fineAn interesting question came up in a group I'm involved with called The MarketPlace about whether this 'pretend' buying/selling/trading of pictures called 'CyberPets' was better than just giving them away to people by chance. Well, for what it's worth, here's my two cents.

The Star Islands Zone was originally a cyberadoption website. It went absolutely belly up. Apparently, even when I had opened the floodgates to adopters, a bare trickle of demand was there. With the marketplace and my section of Kainev that takes orders for critters from the marketplace, I've already sold two paerchers.

Even now, I'm working on a tailless Jasper Male Paercher w/ a Pearl Teardrop Buckle on a Fancy Fabric Collar (long description, isn't it?) to auction off at the market. I figure 100g would be a fair price if I was selling it normally. I'll probably have it finished by tonight, and then I'll auction him off and see what kind of price he's worth. If I get above 100g, I'll be satisfied. If I get below that amount, I won't.

I mean... I realize I haven't drawn much in this journal, but I'm a good artist. Almost as good as Myrror, if not better. Difference between me and her is that she spends more waking hours drawing and putting her stuff online than I do. I may not be better known than she is, but that's no reason for me not to be able to demand the same type of prices that she does... maybe a little less because there's no brand recognition, but just a little less.

With traditional CyberAdoption, I did nothing. With the Market, I'm doing something.
