I had the honor of attending "Hollywood Squares" book signing that took place at the Bookstar in Studio City on August 7th. Click here to see the pix!

GAME SHOW NEWS!

Ok, here is what is going on:

*NETWORK/SYNDICATED GAME SHOW NEWS*
--Family Feud and Pyramid have both been renewed for the 2003-2004 season! Congrats to both incredible shows! This will be the fifth season for Feud, and the second season for Pyramid.

--Hollywood Squares is now algebraic with a brand-spanking new bonus round, new music, new set, and some A-class stars!

--Jeopardy and Wheel are both in new seasons (19 and 20, respectively) and have gone more high-tech. Also, how do you like Jeopardy's new set?

--The Price is Right had some serious blows earlier in the year, but now Price has chaged their set yet again, had some success with the Million Dollar specials, and should see a 32nd season.

--Pyramid, hosted by Donny Osmond, is kickin' in syndication. In the LA area, it is on KCAL-9!

--Weakest Link has been cancelled for NBC...but the syndicated version hosted by George Gray will go on for another year! No word on renewal for a third season yet.

**GSN NEWS**
GSN's Whammy-rific weekend will begin on March 16th as they will show "Big Bucks: The Press Your Luck Scandal," which documents Michael Larson's run at the Big Board. On the following day, Whammy's second season will premiere with TWO shows, a Larson reunion special, and a special St. Patty's edition of Whammy. The Larson documentary will also be repeat on the 17th. Don't miss it!

***Lingo, a word-association game, is now airing on GSN with Chuck Woolery hosting this  series. The show is now in its second season.

***Scrabble may be making it's return--possibly on GSN--in 2003. Stay tuned, folks!
