The summer of 2001 has marked a return to oil painting for me. Oil paints were where I started, but abandoned because they were too messy. I was a teenager at the time I stopped painting with oils. Although they are still messy, I am more patient. I love the sheen and texture that they give. There are two more oil paintings that I am working on that will be posted soon.
