When I am creating a photograph I think to myself "If only I could come up with a grand statement. Then I could become pretentious and arrogant and people would dismiss it as my artistic eccentricities." As it stands, my pretentiousness and arrogance is nothing more than a reason for people to call me a jerk.

This is Sarah, my girlfriend.

Sarah and I have been together since Christmas 1997. During the years I have known here she has attended and graduated from Baldwin-Wallace college. She will soon be heading off to graduate school and eventually she will become a mad scientist.

Unfortunately the software we have for the computer is not all that great when it comes to photo manipulation, and I am not technically savvy enough to make it work for me. But, I think that I can do a few cool things with it and that is all I need. Besides I am generally happy with the pictures I do take without any digital manipulation so I think that I am alright.

Shallow Depth of Field

This is something I did for my photography class last summer. I think it is a cool looking photo. Ever since that class I have been really excited about photography. That is why it is my favorite hobby right now. Maybe one day I will be good at it.
