| Yoshiki | X | That I met Toshi is about 20 years ago. I have never seen a rocker until now who is so much a rocker. He still has common sense but knows what it means to be a rocker and that has again a special impact. | hide means avant-garde! Sometimes he is a cute little boy, sometimes he is even boring! He has lots of mysterious moods. But he is so kind! He takes care about people. But even though, why is he sometimes exploding like that?! (laugh) | He does not take care a bit about what others are doing. He is a super-my-pace- person. And in principle he is pretty lazy. If you tell him sit down over there, he will probably sit there forever. He is the resting point within X, but also the biggest anarchist, I guess. | He is also an avantgardist and an anarchist. He has a very subtle side and a very crazy side. He believes in human beings but when he gets betrayed he really freaks and destroys everything. But he really thinks a long time about it before he does that. |
| Toshi | Our actress? (laugh)... isn't he? I know him for a damn long time but indeed he is an incredible guy. I never sang to other drums than his until now, I guess, which is damn hard! | X | hide is a monster! (laugh) He turns into a monster when he is drunk for sure. Usually he is such a nice guy. But you have to make sure he isn't drunk before you ask him something serious. | Our Buddah. He's lazy though. He's pretty stubborn. But I think this kind of character is very good. But one day he is gonna drink himself to death I'm sure. Take care of your body ne! (laugh) | Our youngest. Our naughty boy. He is pretty self-centered but somehow he is the most manly of us all. |
| hide | "he can do everything if he wants to" that's what I think about him. He appeared on the scene when I already thought of quitting music. And now he made my life an absolute mess! (laugh) | A rocker after all. (laugh). But his life style is very normal. If we freak he cleans up the mess and gives us the energy back. He is our reservoir. | X | Pata is like a cat. Even if everyone around him is going crazy he sits there with that "it-hasn't- anything-to-do-with- me" face and goes on drinking his Sake. But I think there are a lot of things hidden inside of him. One day they might explode. No, probably he'll never explode (laugh). | He's the critical arranger of X. And he is the best basist in Japan! When I met him the first time he was still an amateur, but now he is absolutely best. I am proud that I manage to keep up with him when it comes to playing in the band! (laugh). |
| Pata | Don't hurt yourself all the time! | When it's just the two of us it always becomes a stand-up comendy. He is the one who blames, I am the one who takes the blame (laugh)! | He is a strange guy but somehow we are big friends. He is the one I'm going drinking with. | X | The boss of the bad boys. Wicked to the bones! (laugh) |
| Taiji | Our Oyabun (Yakuza boss)! Our boss! The fastest drummer ever! Gripping us all! | What kind of a guy is Toshi?! (laugh) All right, he is the guy who creates the mood in X. And he is the normal guy. The common sense rocker. When he is talking and someone else enters the room the story always goes gradually the wrong way (laugh). | He is like my elder brother. He is so terribly kind! I often discuss serious things with him (laugh). Listen to me next time as well please! (laugh) | Lazy! Like a piece of meat! (laugh) But his heart is at the right spot!
