Holders of Peace (HOP)

Background

Behold, the arrival of -=HOP=-. These guardians of the heavens realm harness the power from the gods. Their powers come from the lord of Gods Zeus, which enables them to use Zeus's greatest weapon, lightning. Enemies attacked by these warrior run in fear or stand and die. They were send down by the gods because the gods weren't pleased with the abilities of the mortals to defeat Diablo. They considered mortals weak and lower class. The HOP have one purpose, to show their superioty over mortals.

 

Rules Outline

Classes allowed to play as HOP: Amazon only

*** APPLY THE MAIN RULES BELOW FOR ALL EQUIPMENT***

MAIN RULE: If any equipment that is found provides any lightning damage, it MUST be used. These items are gifts from the gods to help you in your journey.

 

Armor Rules

Helms: Preferred head gear is either a mask or bonehelm. This is because the HOP like to cover their true identity from their enemies. They take of their masks just before the enemy is destroyed so the last thing the enemy will see is the face of warrior who has defeated them. Any head gear is allowed, except for the Great Helm. The HOP believe that these helms will slow them down too much in combat and stay away from these helms.

Armor: All Armour is allowed, except for the Ancient Armour, Full Plate Mail, and Gothic Armour. The HOP don't like to rely on their armour to save them in battle but their quick thinking and speed. Exception to Full Plate Mail, when a HOP feels she is strong enough (lvl 35+), she may wear the Full Plate.

Shields: No shields can be used.

Gloves: Light Gauntlets are preferred, since they provide protection from the arms and provide easy movement for the fingers, oppose to the normal gauntlets. When a HOP feels she is strong enough (lvl 30+), she can choose to wear gauntlets. Any gloves are allowed to be used.

Boots: Greaves will never be used, unless they provide Fastest Run/Walk ability. The HOP do not need protection from their feet, because the HOP move so fast their feet hardly ever touch the ground. Any boots found with increase to run/walk speed must be used. Preferred boots are ones that have both increase to run/walk and hit recovery.

Belts: Avoid using Plated or Heavy belts, because they slow down the HOP. If you have boots that provide Fastest run/walk ability, you can wear a Plated or Heavy belt.

Jewelry: Preferred one's that add lightning damage. HOP likes to show off their collection of "lightning enchanted" rings. They are very proud of these and should try to be found at all costs.

 

*Weapon Rules*

Javelins: Any Javelin type is allowed to be used with the HOP.

Spears: The main weapon of a master HOP is a reliably fast attack speed Rare Pike with Lightning damage. These are the preferred weapon and are to be used when you can obtain one. Any other Spear type weapon can be used before you can obtain a rare pike (Spetum, Brandistock, Trident, etc...).

Bows and Crossbows: Bows and Crossbows should be avoided. But, since it could be kind of hard to start of with an Amazon, you can use the bow/crossbow when you first arrive onto Earth from the Heavens. But, once you reach a strong enough level (lvl 10+).. bows/crossbows can not be used. If you are going to use a bow until you are level 10, it must be a socketed bow with fast or greater attack speed. The bow must be socketed with topaz's.

Actually, IMO, it is very easy to start off as an amazon, so bows should be avoided.

No other weapons may be used other then the ones talked about above.

 

*Skill Rules*

- Bow and Crossbow skills:
No skills from these tree can be learned.


- Passive and Magic Skills
:
The HOP rely on their speed to dodge attacks, while dealing out deadly amounts of damage. Over the time the HOP prove they are worthy to have control over a holly guard from the heavens and are able to call upon Valkyrie.

Inner Sight: Optional <a messenger from the gods, by virtue of her heavenly connections, should be able to perceive what normal mortals might not>

Critical Strike: Optional.

Dodge: At least (5) points must be put into this skill before Avoid can be learnt.

Avoid: At least (5) points must be put into this skill before Evade can be learnt.

Evade: At least (5) Points must be put into this skill before Valkyrie can be learnt.

*Valkyrie: This skill must be upgraded to 20 over time.


- Javelin and Spear Skills
:
Jab: To be used at lower levels. (no more then (6) points maybe be put into this skill)

Power Strike: At least (5) points must be put into this skill.

Lightning Bolt: Optional.

Charged Strike: Optional.

Fend: At least (10) points must be put into this skill before learning the main HOP attack. Must be used with a rare pike with lightning damage.

Lightning strike or Lightning Fury: This is HOP main attack. Choose one of these skills and over time built it up to 20 points.


Skills not mentioned should not be learnt except 1 point as prerequisites.

 

Dueling

Even though the -=HOP=- dislike all mortals, the sight of other non-HOP amazons create a fury of anger inside them that can only be calmed by the slaying of that Amazon. The ears may be kept, but if you do not wish to keep them, you must make sure the owner of the ear does not get it back.

Ranking:

Raven Wing: Killing 1-5 Amazon Foes.
Shining Spear: Killing 6-10 Amazon foes.
Guardian: Killing 11-15 Amazon foes.
Imperial Guardian: Killing 16-20+ Amazon foes.
