WHO WHAT HOW WHERE WHEN

The vision for Hoopsies came from a couple eager basketball players who enjoyed Basketball for Beginners last year. Recognizing that there were folks out there in the GLBT community who wanted to learn and play basketball an executive committee was formed. There are now three individuals who form the executive committee. Hoopsies is a not for profit organization. Hoopsies is happy to have the Village Rainbow on board as the only offical sponsor of the league.

THE GOODS

Playing on Monday nights at Palmerston Public School located at 734 Palmerston Avenue near bloor and bathurst. Games are played at 7:00 or 8:15. Members will be assigned a team before the season begins. The cost is $60.00 for one season or $110.00 for both seasons. You can get a registration form by emailing us. November 20, 2002 between 7:00 and 9:00pm will be the sign up date for the winter season which will begin in January 2003.
