Since the 17th Century, branches of this family have settled in the vicinity of Mannheim. They carry the following crest: A silver stag (standing on three green mounds facing a golden crest rose. Helmet decorations: Upon a protective helmet rests two silver antlers on three green mounds. Between the antlers is the golden crest rose. Plumage of silver-blue is on both sides. The helmet decorations, as well as the colors of the crest were modified according to the rules of heraldry. Age of the crest: Approximately 1540. A copy of the crest is in the Crest Collection of J.
