Revolutionizing the Genre of Visual Kei
From 1992 to 2001, the Visual Kei genre was dominated by one of the most infamous names in j-rock history: Malice Mizer. In those nine years, the band put out four albums, several short, silent films, and a full-length movie, not to mention the major contributions they made to Visual Kei. Although they disbanded in December of 2001, the band members have continued on with solo projects, continuing to revolutionize the genre.
