[Hinageshi clasps her hands together as she sits on the roof of Genkai's temple. The cold air pushes against her face; she shivers.]
I know that I sometimes
Just don't know how to tell her
[Her eyes widen as she glimpses a shadow flitting through the trees, but suddenly it disappears. She sighs and lowers her head.]
I want to hold and kiss her
Give her my love
[Hiei rests on a tree branch as he catches sight of Hinageshi on the rooftop. He notices her looking around; he steps back and hides himself in the darkness.]
Make her believe
She doesn't know

[He takes a deep breath and moves toward her silently. On the roof he takes slow careful steps, all the while wondering what has gotten into him.]

[Hiei pauses at her side without doing anything. She doesn't seem to know he's there.]

[He grunts. Hinageshi looks up at him; her face immediately lights up.]

[She smiles at him; he scowls. But both their faces are getting a distinct shade of pink.]

[Hinageshi tugs at Hiei's sleeve and he sits down beside her, crossing his arms in front of his chest.]

[Suddenly, it starts to rain.]
I know that she's always there
When I need her love and
[They look up simultaneously at the dark sky, not minding the raindrops crashing against their faces.]
I know that I've never told her
How much I love her
[Both of them are thinking of the other.]
I see her face before me
[Hiei turns his attention to his companion, who seems to be enjoying the rain.]
I look in her wonderin' why
[She closes her eyes, feeling the water trickle down her face and neck. She shivers a little as the wind blows in their direction.]

[The cold doesn't bother Hiei, but he feels strange watching her like that. He pays attention to every detail of her face, and her fiery red hair?]

[Hinageshi faces him suddenly, her lips curving into a smile as she catches the expression on his face.]

[Hiei gives her his usual "Hn" and tries to resume an impassive expression on his face.]
You're all I want inside my heart
[He doesn't succeed, because her smile never leaves her face as her emerald green eyes stare into his own ruby ones.]
You're all I need when we're apart
[She giggles; he is dumbfounded. She grabs his arm and leans against him, feeling his warmth.]

[This time his face is all red, but she doesn't notice because she feels comfortable in her position.]
Say, say that you'll be there
Whenever I reach out
To feel your hand in my arm
[The rain stops, but the chilly wind keeps blowing. Hinageshi shivers again; she bites her lower lip as Hiei removes his arm from her grasp.]
Stay, stay within my heart
Whenever I'm alone
I know that you are there
[She looks away, a bit ashamed. Then she feels his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close to him.]
You're all I need beside me, girl
[She blushes as her cheek rests against his chest, but the warmth gives her a sense of comfort.]
You're all I need to turn my world
[He is blushing, too, but he struggles to keep his composure.]
You're all I want inside my heart
[Hiei gives up trying to keep a straight face, and a smile forms on his lips.]
You're all I need when we're apart
[Hinageshi snuggles closer to him 'til she could feel his heart beating against her cheek.]
You're all I need, yeah
[Hiei tightens his embrace; she whispers something then slides her arms around him. He whispers his reply, "Ai shiteru."]
