ABORTION
Who forms the baby in the womb?
Job 31:15 - "Did not He that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?"
Ecclesiastes 11:5 - "As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all."
Isaiah 44:2 - "Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, My servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen."
Isaiah 44:24 - "Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and He that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by Myself."
Isaiah 49:5 - "And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob again to Him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength."
Jeremiah 1:5 - "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."
God considers the baby in the womb to be a person that has the same rights as any living being - "life for life."
Exodus 21:22-23 - "If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life."
God considers the baby in the womb to be a person.
Genesis 25:23-24 - "And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb."
Job 3:11 - "Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?"
Job 10:18 - "Wherefore then hast Thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!"
Psalm 22:9-10 - "But Thou art He that took me out of the womb: Thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. I was cast upon Thee from the womb: Thou art my God from my mother's belly."
Psalm 139:13-14 - "For Thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Proverb's 31:2 - "What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?"
Isaiah 49:1 - "Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath He made mention of my name."
Hosea 12:3 - "He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God."
Luke 1:15 - "For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb."
Luke 1:41,44 - "And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost. For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy."
Galatians 1:15 - "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace."
Note: See also these verses stating "with child." Gen. 16:11; 19:36; 38:24,25; Exo. 21:22; 1Sa. 4:19; 2Sa. 11:5; 2Ki. 8:12; 15:16; Ecc. 11:5; Isa. 26:17,18; 54:1; Jer. 30:6; 31:8; Hos. 13:16; Amos 1:13; Mat. 1:18,23; 24:19; Mark 13:17; Luke 2:5. So we can clearly see that God considers the bay to be a person.
God considers the baby to be a person at conception.
Judges 13:5,7 - "For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death."
Matthew 1:20 - "But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."
Luke 1:35 - "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that Holy Thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."
Don't consider abortion lest the Lord consider this!
Hosea 9:14 - "Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts."
God has a plan for all babies and knows them all by name even before thy are conceived.
Luke 1:13 - "But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John."
Luke 1:31 - "And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a Son, and shalt call His name JESUS."
Luke 2:21 - "And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, His name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb."
Once you grant that the unborn is a human being - formed by God, chosen by God, and loved by God - than the baby has all the rights of any human. The people that are pro-choice on abortion are not really pro-choice. They are not pro-rape, pro-child abuse, pro-incest, et cetera. You can not legislate morality, God's Law proves that. But you can make the right choice.
