QUESTIONS FOR MUSLIMS
C-o-n-s-i-d-e-r: Muslims believe that the Koran has been revealed to re-establish the sincere worship of Allah alone, without association of any partners with him. Example: "And they have been commanded no more than this to worship Allah, offering him sincere devotion, being true in faith, to establish regular prayer and to give Zakat, and that is the religion right and straight." Sura 98:5.
According to the Koran, Jesus Christ is the Word of God (Sura 3:45) the Spirit of God (Sura 4:171), and the Messenger of God (Sura 4:171).
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Since these are only attributes of God, then isn't it clear that Jesus, the Christ, is the one and only God?
M-Y N-E-X-T Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: If there is only one God (as Muslims and Christians believe), then why does the Koran say, "We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, and no weariness touched us?" Sura 50:37. "None of our revelations do we abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but we..." Sura 2:106.
According to Sura 3:84; 4:136; 29:46, Muslims are to believe in the Bible and what has been revealed to Moses and Jesus.
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Since Muslims claim that the Bible was corrupted before Islam, why did Mohammed ask his followers to believe it (Sura 2:23; 2:53; 4:163; 5:46)?
C-o-n-s-i-d-e-r: Sura 3:55 - "Behold! Allah said: O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow you the superior to those who reject faith [blaspheme] to the day of resurrection..." See also see Sura 7:119 were Jesus dies for your sins!!!
Also, Muslims believe that Allah has taken upon himself the duty of preserving the Koran forever in its entirety. Example: "We have without doubt sent down the Message, and we will assuredly guard it [from corruption]." Sura 15:9. The writer of the preface to King Fahd's Koran also states, "The Arabic text we have today is identical to the text as it was revealed to the prophet. Not even a single letter has yielded to corruption during the passage of the centuries..."
F-A-C-T: The word "Message," used in the above Sura, applies also to the Torah, Psalms, and the Enjil (the New Testament), of which portions or endorsements appear in the Koran.
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: If Allah has taken upon himself the duty of preserving the message, why do Muslims include Biblical portions yet call the Bible corrupt? And why do Muslims persecute people (Christians) who believe and uphold some of the same testimonies that they do?
A-L-S-O: Why did Mohammed ask the people of the book, the Christians and the Jews, to observe the Torah and the Injil [Old and New Testaments], asking them to view them as a reference and as valid books?
This is a F-A-C-T. See Sura 5:68; 10:94.
According to Sura 2 :106, Allah said he could change his mind: "None of our revelations do we abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but we substitute something better or similar: knowest thou not that Allah hath power over all things?"
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Since any change of mind would give doubt to the divine origin of the Koran, and ultimately of Allah himself, why not accept the true God found in the Bible: "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips." Psa. 89:34.
