Church clearly teaches</B>.  The bottom line is that Mormons must reject the Bible as the standard of God's Word, for nowhere are a myriad of their teachings found therein.  It's God's Word [Who NEVER CHANGES His mind: Heb. 13:8; Num. 23:19; Psa. 89:34; Mal. 3:6; Heb. 1:11-12; Jam. 1:17] or the changeable man's word, The Book of Mormon.</div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="mailto: heislord@teacher.com" TARGET="_top" TITLE="mailto: heislord@teacher.com"><U><IMG SRC="1be37280.gif" border=0 width="55" height="40" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></U></A></div> <bR> <div> Mormons should also be aware that they were not the originators of this doctrine.  Form the "Catechism of the Catholic Church" gnatius Press p. 116, and "Athanasius De Ine. 54,3: PG. 25, 192B, we read:  "For the Son of God became man so that we might become God."</div> <bR> <div>     <A HREF="mailto: heislord@teacher.com" TARGET="_top" TITLE="mailto: heislord@teacher.com"><U><IMG SRC="2c132120.gif" border=0 width="50" height="18" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></U></A>       <A HREF="mailto: heislord@teacher.com" TARGET="_top" TITLE="mailto: heislord@teacher.com"><U><IMG SRC="1eaaa960.gif" border=0 width="170" height="150" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></U></A></div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>Lest Mormon's tell you they believe in God's Word, [The Bible], here </U></B><I><B><U>is</U></B></I><B><U> what they really believe</U></B><B>:</B></div> <bR> <div>    "The words contained in this Bible are merely a history of what is gone by; it was <I><B>never</B></I><B> </B>given to guide the servant of God in the course he should pursue.  [One might ask:  What then was God's guide before Mormonism?]  <I><B>The Bible is not a sufficient guide</B></I>, it is only the history of the people who lived 1800 years ago."  <U>Journal of Discourses, Vol. 2</U> p. 75.</div> <div>    "There are many plain and precious things taken away from the book [The Bible].  Because of these things which were taken away out of the gospel of the Lamb, an exceeding great many do stumble, yea, insomuch that Satan hath great power over them."  <U>Book of Mormon,</U> 1 Nephi 13:28b, 29b.</div> <div>    "Who knows that even one verse of the Bible has escaped pollution so as to convey the same sense that it did in the original?"  <U>Divine Authenticity of the Book of Mormon</U>, p. 47.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Finally</B>, only God can die for your sins, for it was His Law that was broken.  No man, angel, or any other substitute will do.  Herein lies the heart of God's Word:  <I><B><U>GOD DIED FOR YOUR SINS!!!</U></B></I></div> <bR> <bR> <div> <A HREF="mailto: heislord@teacher.com" TARGET="_top" TITLE="mailto: heislord@teacher.com"><U><IMG SRC="0513e2e0.gif" border=0 width="62" height="46" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></U></A></div> </td> </tr></table></body>
