Episode 9: "Chapter 9"
Original Air Date: 1.08.01
Summarized by: Kris D.

Milton and Lisa are cruising the halls, discussing a possible "party" during first period. She knows he doesn't have a first hour class and neither does she. She likes "being bad", but Milton isn't quite so hip to the idea. She wants him to meet her in the basement, a place nobody knows about. As they're discussing, Guber walks by and Lisa joyfully wishes him a good morning. We follow Scott as Lauren comes walking up next to him. Her hair is somewhat wavy, down. Scott asks her if she's done something different with her hair. Surprised, Lauren reaches up to touch it. No, it's just wet. She just took a shower in the locker room but it hasn't dried yet. He wants to know if she has plumbing problems at home. Nope, she just comes in early a few days a week to work out in the gym. It "lacks certain amenities, but the price is right." At which point Guber leans right over the back of her neck and breathes in deeply. The ELG jumps backwards with the same swiftness as Lauren, while Lauren incredulously asks "What was that?" Guber covers nicely, he was just smelling her shampoo. He detected a hint of tea tree oil. Lauren, completely weirded out, asks him to please not smell her. "Please don't smell me." Guber apologizes and Lauren scampers away, still holding her hair.

While Guber stands there watching her leave, a student runs into Guber. "Mr. Roberson, this is first period, not track." Scott rounds back and heads towards the offices when he sees several uniformed police officers and a man in a trench coat. Scott stops to speak with them. It seems a young man committed an armed robbery in the neighborhood, and they have reason to believe he's in the school. Harvey, who has been hovering like a gnat the entire time, butts in with his usual brand of charm. "Is he black?" Both Scott and the trenchcoat man look at Harvey irritated. Does the man think this suspect is in the building now? Yes.

Roll Credits.

Act I

Winslow High is being surrounded by police cars and police officers. The trench coat man, Scott, Steven and the officers powow in Steven's office. Steven wants to know what is going on, and the man tells him that the Assistant Manager of a nearby restaurant was robbed while trying to take yesterday's reciepts from the bank. The man slammed the would-be thief's hand in the door and the thief shot the man fatally through the window. The suspect fled in the direction of the school, wearing a Winslow letterman jacket. They've set up a perimeter around the school and they have a team of officers ready to search the premises. Steven says he understands the seriousness of the situation, but that he needs to know before he lets the people conduct any kind of search. The detective-man (still unnamed at this point) assures Harper that he'll be apprised of the situation at all times, but that they don't need Harper's permission to do this. Harper understands that, but they have a student who is possibly armed, possibly hurt, possibly frightened, on school grounds. Seeing a bunch of swarming cops would not be good for the situation. Steven believes the boy is desperate - the detective man claims they'll use plain-clothes officers. No uniforms. He also wants some yearbooks - they eyewitness might be able to identify the suspect. Finally, he wants the shool to lock down. There's an alert bell and teachers lock the classroom up, nobody in or out. Steven doesn't want to sound the alarm because it will alert the suspect. They come to an agreement - they will search non-classroom areas for the suspect. If he's not found by the end of first period, the school goes into official lockdown.

In Guber's office, Harvey is arguing with Scott. He wants to go to class but Scott won't allow it - he's afraid Harvey will open his big trap and alert the class to the fact that there's an armed suspect on the school grounds. "And despite your best intentions to remain silent nobody can predict what will come out of your mouth." Scott tells him to stay in the office until further notice. Harvey claims that Scott has no authority to keep him out of his classroom. "Leave my office and you will be discharged. How's that for authority?"

Down in the basement, Lisa is madly lighting candles. There's a couch, candles and not much else. It's very dark. "What is this place?" It's dusty and dirty - it was the old boiler room. None of this amuses Lisa. She knows they have just over a half an hour and she wants to get down to business. (Survey says? SLUT!)

Guber breezes into the teacher's lounge where Kevin is standing around looking pretty. Guber enlists Kevin to help him search the school for the suspect. Kevin's jaw scrapes the floor all the way out the door.

On their way to respective classes, Harry incredulously asks Lauren "Dancing?" Yes, she smiles smugly. According to Harry, dancing is a no go because they're already slept together. (:::siren goes off::: Did you hear that mon amis? Already. Slept. Together. Discuss.) According to Harry, guys only dance with girls because it leads to sex. Really - she goes all wide-eyed ingenue on him. "Oh yeah. If we were to dance now it would be like going backwards in the relationship." At which point Lauren scrunches her face and delivers the bad news. "But see, Harry, girls only sleep with guys because it leads to dancing." She caught you there, buddy. "Now, either you're taking me or I'm taking you. Your choice." Harry smiles tightly and, through the side of his mouth comments how this *so* feels like his choice! Lauren snorfles under her breath and leans to kiss him on the cheek. She's got class, and she runs up the stairs. Turning, still grinning like a maniac, Harry says through clenched teeth. "I hate dancing!"

Kevin and his police escourt enter the bathroom and push open all the stalls, looking for the suspect. It's empty.

Scott and *his* escourt are running down to the dungeon, which is a mess with dancing and music. As soon as Scott walks in the door, the students hit the button on the music and jump into their seats. "Where's Mr. Senate?" Scott asks, as t he door swings open behind him. Harry. Scott tells Harry that his class started 10 minutes ago. "Excellent, usually they wait 'til I get here." This causes giggles throughout the classroom. Scott then asks to speak with Harry outside. The delinquents in the classroom all "oooooooh", but Bulldog (:::Kris slaps the ELG:::...that's not nice!) we mean GUBER, gives them all the evil eye and they quiet down. Not for long, though, as they giggle like hyenas as they slip out of the classroom.

In the corridor Scott tells Harry about the whole boy-with-a-gun scenario and tells him the plan - keep your kids locked in the classroom, if they're not found by the end of first period...yadda yadda. Harry listens intently and just when you think he's going to be serious he asks "Oooh, can I go get my gun?" This seriously offends Scott, who wants to know if there's anything that doesn't amuse Harry. Looking slightly chastised, Harry stares at Scott's chest and half-mumbles "Your tie?" He waits a beat before going in for the kill. "Do you want to sniff my shampoo?" he asks, running his hand over his head. Mortified, Scott turns and heads up the stairs, calling his PoliceMan escort after him. Harry just watches him go, a very self-satisfied smirk twitching at his lips.

Louisa is on a mission from the powers that be - she's alerting teachers quietly about the situation. She enters Lauren's classroom (while Lauren is apparently putting together some kind of group project - heh. the things you learn on rewatches...) and hands her a note. She tells Lauren, loud enough for the students to hear, that they're having furnace trouble and may have to shut it down during 4th period. She then leans in and passes on word from the grapevine - possible armed student. Same refrain. Lauren nods, pretending to be all sunshine and rainbows, and reads the note. Then she turns back to her class, poker-face in place.

Kevin is trying to unlock a door, but his key won't seem to work. He and his escort are just about to give up when the lock magically clicks. The escort goes first, pushing open the door and revealing smoking candles. Pulling out a flashlight, he scans the room. H iding behind the couch, wrapped in a sheet, Lisa sneezes. This alerts the police man and he yells "Boston PD, on your feet!" Milton springs up, hands in the air. "Don't shoot, I'm a teacher!" Kevin can't believe it's Milton. Then, much to Kevin's surprise, the cop orders the *other* person to get up. R'uh r'oh! "Lisa?" All Milton can do is squeal "She's 18! I swear!" like a stuck pig.

Act II

Swat team members in full gear with big, scary guns circle the school. In the basement/boiler room, Milton, Kevin and the police man are going around and around about who everyone is. Lisa wants to get to class, but Kevin drops the big bomb. Armed suspect, school lockdown (note: I'm getting tired of explaining this story everytime someone in the show explains it <g>) BLAH BLAH! Kevin tells Milton to take Lisa to the teacher's lounge, and leave her there. Milton's parting shot is "She's 18." Aww. Milt. /end disgust.

Steven finds Harvey sitting in Scott's office, reading a file. Why is Harvey there? Because Vice Principal Hitler forced him to stay. Why? Because he'll let on about the terrorists or upset the desegs. Harvey believes he should be in his classroom. He's a teacher in these formative years and every second counts! And besides, it's not as if they listen to him. Steven stares with hooded eyes then tells Harvey to stay there.

Guber and his police officer are running through the school to heavy-beat music. They're going to check the auditorium.

Milton drops Lisa off in the teacher's lounge - she wants to know what's going to happen now and he doesn't know. She claims that they don't have to know everything - and she doesn't want to be transferred! He tells her to stay there, that he'll be back. As he's headed out the door, she stops him with "We better settle on what our story's going to be."

Louisa delivers the yearbooks to the Detective in Charge, who then gives them to the eyewitness. Steven is in his office with his phone ringing off the hook - no, he has no official statement. No, Mrs. Keyes, do not page your son.

In Marla's classroom, one of her students in on a cell phone. She claims that someone has a gun - her mom listens to a police scanner and heard the story. Marla takes the gun from the girl and talks to the person on the other line. "Who's this? What are you doing calling her during class? These cell phones are a big nuisance and they cause brain cancer. Did you know that?" She hangs up saying "Your mother's nuts." Just then, Louisa bursts in with a note for Marla. Marla begins reading it out loud. "Do not alarm students but there's an armed suspect inside the building..." the students start to get up from their seats but Louisa tells them that it's safer to remain in place. The police are checking the building, there's no danger, blah blah. There's a tight shot of one student looking rather uptight.

Cut to a finger pointing to that boy's picture in a yearbook. It's Steven and Detective In Charge discussing the fact that the eyewitness just ID'd the boy. Steven runs to Louisa and asks about Phil Roberson, where's he supposed to be first period? After a rather slow moment with the computer, they find out he's in Marla's class. He has no disciplinary record, as well. (During this scene, we find that it's Monday morning - a timestamp! Finally! and that Harry teaches 3rd period Geology on Mondays, Kevin does in fact teach Physical Education, and Buttle teaches a second hour English Lit class.) Marilyn comes in, (apparently, she doesn't have a first hour class, either) and tells Steven that the news of the suspect is whipping around the school. How? The technology age, stupid. "Pagers, cell phones, email..."

Harry's class is going crazy, they want to leave! And they want to know why he won't let them. "First of all, it's policy. And we all know how devoted to policy I am." And second, they're all supsects! This is the dungeon! How many there have juvie records, he wants to know. Juan wants to eliminate everyone in the class as a suspect - Harry wants to know how. Juan whispers to a kid sitting next to him.

Kevin finds Milton pacing around his classroom. Milton doesn't want Kevin to start with him, he knows everything Kevin is going to say, he's said it to himself a thousand times. Kevin's cool with this, "Why don't you talk? Explain to me..." We once again hear the "She's 18!" battle cry, and he goes on about how there'd be no problem with him dating her if she went to another high school, or if she was a college freshman. Kevin points out that she goes *to this school*. Then Milton plays the Love card. He's in love with her. Oy. He feels like he has an actual life - he's supposed to not see her because of where she goes to school? Kevin wants to know if he really believes that. Milton claims he's going to put it on hold until June. Kevin knows better. "No you won't. Milt, you were carrying on with her in the school. Can't you see how out of control you are? This has been going on for about a month? If this gets out, you'll lose your job and it's not likely school would hire you. And if it continues? I can't promise *I* won't report you. You're a friend, Milt, I love you. But she's a student, Milton. She's a student."

Detective-in-Charge is radioing someone about being in "position", which Steven overhears. What is in position? R'uh r'oh. Sharpshooters. "You will not fire into a classroom of students." DiC (Detective in Charge) claims that he hopes it doesn't come to that, but they've done this before. From where Steven sits, it doesn't look like it. They go over police procedure, which states that once a suspect has been found they are supposed to call in SWAT. And what if Phil *isn't* in that classroom? DiC wants to know if they've got cameras in the classroom - no go. Louisa gets a bright idea. She knows the boy, she'll deliver a message to Marla. DiC thinks this a great idea but Steven doesn't think so.

Back in the dungeon, Harry is running a metal detector over a student. I guess one of his students' brothers stole it from the airport. "That's nice."

Harper comes into Marla's classroom and tells the class that the suspect has been found, for them to relax. He spots Phil Roberson sitting tensely in the back of the classroom. He returns to the hallway and says he didn't tell Marla "the plan", because the boy was already suspicious. They need to get a message to Marla somehow, and Steven decides to use Harvey. Scott heads for his office mumbling "Give me strength..."

Milton finds Lisa back in the teacher's lounge. She still wants to know what's going to happen, if Kevin is going to tell. Getting very emotional, Milton tells Lisa that they can't "do this anymore." Lisa eyes well up with tears as well, and she claims that she doesn't want him to lose his job. She says it's not going to be easy, for him either...but...She says "I love you, Milton." to which he only nods. Yeah.

Act III

Swat team is now on the roof of the school and swarming the halls. Steven is telling Harvey that he cannot stay after he's given the message, and that if he sticks to the script, nothing will arouse suspicion. He also tells Harvey not to dare to adlib.

Back in the dungeon, they're done metal detecting. Juan claims Harry told them if they could eliminate the suspect, then they could go. Harry says he never said that, and if he did he was lying. The kids demand to know why he made them go through the thing with the metal detector - Harry just wanted to play with it! He says that they'll talk about any topic they want to learn about. Anything at all, Juan's choice. Juan wants to know about women - he doesn't understand them and doesn't know anybody who does. Harry claims women aren't meant to be understood. They're meant to be alluring and life-long mysteries. Juan wants something a bit more useful. "OK. Here's what I know so far. Oddly enough, they like to dance." The kids throw paper balls at him, and Harry says "Fine. Grow old alone."

Marla is in her classroom taking advantage of Harvey's absence. She's teaching about Booker T. Washington and the Tuskeegee Air Base - she wants them to have a well-rounded education. Harvey comes in, fake as can be, and claims that he has a terrible stomach bug and must go home early. After he's through showboating, he tells Marla that Phil Roberson is the suspect and to keep him after class. He then he floats out of the classroom, leaving Marla disturbed and distracted. She covers nicely, however.

As they wait for first period to end, Steven decides to put the school into official lockdown. Louisa is going around to the teachers now, letting them know. Harvey is sent back to Scott's office to wait.

In Milton's classroom, Kevin tries to lift Milton's spirits by inviting him to watch the bust. Milton declines - his day has been exciting enough. Milton tells Kevin that he ended it, but he doesn't feel better. Kevin says "Even if you love her, you have to know you can't." But Milton will not be deterred. He thinks, as a teacher, he has to make lots of sacrifices. No swimming pool (!!!), they don't get to live like...he doesn't think it's worth giving up a person. He is basically willing to sacrifice his career for this girl, he claims he isn't even a great teacher. At this point, Louisa walks up to the *open door* and stands there. She hears them talking and realizes that Milton has been sleeping with a student. She clears her throat. 'You're screwing a student.' Ooooh. Anyhow, she wants to let them know that they're going into code red. Then she stalks angrily away.

In Lauren's classroom, a student suddenly stands up and wants to go to the bathroom. She says that he can't, that she already explained that. The kid claims his uncle is a lawyer - they're holding them in a building they know to be dangerous! Another girl wants to know why they can't just leave through the window. Lauren, getting tired of this, says "OK, now, look. I don't want to hear anymore talk about leaving. The police have a wall around the building. We're all just staying put."

Everyone is waiting outside Marla's classroom, to catch Phil as he comes out of class. T minus three minutes. Scott tells Steven about these recurring dreams he has about being s hot - ever since Columbine. Every time he disciplines a student he wonders if this is the one who is going to avenge his life of persecution by putting a gun to Scott's temple. Steven tries to placate Scott by saying "It's usually the popular teachers that get shot."

In her classroom, Marla is trying to lecture. She's sweating like crazy and nervously watching the clock.

Marilyn and Kevin are walking the empty halls - Marily comments on how peaceful and quiet it is, all because someone has a gun. She has a very bad feeling about all of this.

Louisa has landed in the office and radios to Steven/Scott that all the teachers have been notified and she'll wait for instructions. Milton wanders in behind her. He stumbles around, he doesn't know what to say. "Milton, answering to me is the least of your worries." He wants to know if she's going to report him and she's thinking about it. Who's the student? He doesn't want to invade her privacy, but...Louisa pushes. It's Lisa Grear. "You dumped me for Lisa Grear?" Milton claims he's not a pervert, that there were circumstances, but Louisa tells him to get out of the office, get out of her life. He tries to explain but she only repeats herself. Get out of the office, get out of her life. He does.

The bell rings and Marla's class is leaving. She hustles her class out but then calls Phil to the front of the class. She wants to talk to him. She says he doesn't participate when she runs class - and that it wouldn't hurt his grade if he didn't participate every once in a while. He notices her sweat and comments on it. She lets him go and, in the hallway, he is jumped by several cops. They clobber him and pin him to the floor. He screams that it wasn't him, over and over. Guber radios to Louisa that they caught him and wants to know if they should end the lockdown. Steven says no, not yet.

Act IV

As they're escorting Phil down the hall, he's still screaming that he didn't do anything. The boy claims he came to school with two other boys and that he never shot anybody. Steven wants them to keep him in his office until they question the other boys, see if Phil is telling the truth.

Kevin finds Lisa in the teacher's lounge. She wants to leave but they're still in lockdown. She wants to know if Milton's going to get fired - he wants to know if it's cool to score with a teacher. She claims she feels sorry for him. Why, because he doesn't understand true love? She says that there are senior boys going around exploiting freshmen girls, who are little girls, but she's 18. Buttle didn't take her virginity, she's not being taken advantage of. Emotionally, Milton's probably younger than she is...Kevin, the ole snark, says "I never claimed to be worried about you, Lisa. I'm sure you're doing just fine. And if you have been hurt, you'll recover. But professionally, Milton won't."

In his office, a boy is claiming that Phil was with him since 7am and that he didn't commit any crime.

In Lauren's classroom, the same student is asking why they can't leave, again. Lauren explains that they are now in official lockdown. A snarky student wonders why there was no bell. Lauren is at a loss. "Maybe it's a silent lockdown. Maybe the bell is broken. Would you feel better if you heard a lousy bell? Just use this as free time." At which point said snarky student tells Lauren that she's not very good at this, she'd make a terrible flight attendant. Well, d'uh. That's why she teaches. Lauren looks over at the boy - he's fidgeting. Getting up, she starts to circle her class. She stops behind the boy and stares. He turns. What? Nothing. Finally she asks to see her hand. Why? Because she wants to and she asked to see it. There is blood on the floor. His hand is bloody and bruised, wrapped in a handkerchief. She wants to know why he didnt go to the infirmary and he claimed that he thought it would have stopped bleeding now. Grabbing a pad of paper, she prepares to send a kid to the infirmary, to get some bandages and anti-bacterial stuff. On the note she writes "Get Mr. Harper. Suspect is here!" Danny, the boy she sends, starts to leave the classroom but the other boy jumps up and grabs the note. Reading it, he pulls a gun from the waistband of his jeans and points it at Lauren. His hand is shaking and his eyes have taken on a wild look. Lauren jumps between him and Danny, throwing her arms out. The rest of the room hits the deck. "OK, Neil, let everyone go." He refuses and she wants to know what he wants. He wants to get out. He wants Mr. Harper. Danny runs out of the room to get him.

He runs down the stairs and finds Harper, Scott and DiC. He tells them that Neil Mavromates has a gun, and wants to talk to Harper. Where? In Ms. Davis's classroom. Steven tells Scott to notify the kids parents and asks DiC who the negotiator is. They don't have one because until that moment, they didn't have a hostage. Steven decides to become the negotiator, though DiC tries to stop him.

In the classroom, Lauren is trying to trade herself for the students, but Neil doesn't want her to talk. OK. So she tells him his hand doesn't look good. This only makes him even more mad - he doesn't want her to coddle him. He knows she thinks he's crazy and talking to him like that only ticks him off. OK. OK. "Then assuming that you're not crazy then you know this place is crawling with police. There is no way out." He wants to talk to Harper, who opens the door.

Swinging around, Neil grabs Lauren around the chest and keeps the gun pointed at Steven. Lauren's eyes are wide as she looks from Steven to Neil. Harper tries to trade himself for Lauren, but Neil doesn't want a 300 pound giant. As Harper takes a step closer, Neil panicks slightly and puts the gun to Lauren's head. The whole room gasps in unison, and Harper stops moving. Neil points the gun back at Harper. He wants the cops to get out of the corridor, so that they can walk out, or something bad is going to happen.

Marilyn interrupts a quiet class in the dungeon, to deliver a message to Harry. "Lauren's been taken hostage in her classroom. Neil Mavromates. Steven's--" She's cut off as Harry thrusts his paperwork into her arms, asks her to watch his class and bolts out the door and up the stairs. He finds Guber in the hall and wants to know what has happened. DiC is placing the sharpshooters.

Back in Lauren's room, Harper is trying to talk Neil out of his tree. "Don't have to throw your life away...yayaya." Neil thinks his only shot is if Harper gets him out, but Steven tells him that even if he gets out of the school, he will still be shot.

In the hallway, DiC is still communicating with his sharpshooters. They don't have a clear shot. Harry shoots past the cops and back into the classroom. The swat team follows him and Neil waves the gun wildly. Harry tries to talk to Neil, who claims he'll shoot him. "No you won't." Placatingly, Harry steps forward. They're trying to get Harry out of the room when Neil says "I'll shoot her!" Lauren squeals "NO!" while Steven yells at Harry to get back. Harry doesn't stop. "Look, just listen to me! What happened this morning, manslaughter, heat of passion, it's not good but it doesn't end your life." He keeps stepping forward and Neil moves to step back. Harry tells him not to move, because they've got sharpshooters ready to kill him if he goes in front of the window. We get a view from a crosshairs and Neil is just about in sight. Neil digs the gun into Lauren's head, claiming he'll shoot, when Harry says "In which case you're a dead man." Lauren is watching Harry intently, not lettin him waver in her sight, as Harry continues to try to get through to Neil. He claims he taught him, and he has never lied to him. His life is in his own hands. "It's time for this to be over, Neil. Please let Miss Davis go. Please. Now I'm going to come to you, slowly, and I'm going to take the gun. Ok Neil?" No, Neil points the gun at Harry. Harry continues "I know you don't want to hurt her. Or me. I'm going to take the gun. I give you my word, I'll try and help you."As Harry gets within a few feet, Neil raises the gun to his own head. A swat member whispers into the radio to hold all fire. Another member's radio blasts static and Neil turns to look. At that moment, Harry jumps forward and clobbers Neil. The gun goes off into the ceiling, Lauren goes flying into some desks, and Harry falls on top of Neil.

Outside, Scott pushes against the police barricade.

Back in the room, Harry is getting up, he's fine. The gun is secured and Neil is subdued. Harry flies to Lauren and hugs her tightly. Is she OK? Yeah. "You almost got me killed." That's gratitude. Guber comes in and checks out the room, everyone is fine. He tries to get everyone's attention about what is going to happen next. Steven approaches Harry, who is once again wrapped around Lauren. Tapping Harry on the shoulder he says, "That was crazy!" Harry apologizes but doesn't really mean it. Steven asks if Lauren is OK, and she asserts that she's fine. She turns to check on a student, but her hand finds Harry's. DiC wants to talk to Harry and Harry asks if he can change his shorts first. Lauren reluctantly lets Harry go. On the way out the door, Kevin asks "Always have to be the cowboy, don't you?" It breaks up the day.

Scott finds Harvey in his office and tells him that the situation is resolved, that he may leave. Harvey is fried at this and says that Scott locked him in the office like he's some sort of deliquent - nothing is resolved! Scott is now fried, as well, and tells Harry that he's a bigot. He brings up Harvey asking right away if the suspect was black, among other things. "You're an embarrassment to me and this school and I will make it my mission to have you discharged." Harvey says "You want a war, Scott? You've got one."

We find Milton in his apartment at night, looking dejected. The camera pans to reveal Lisa sitting behind him. She wants them to continue the relationship - as long as they always meet as his apartment and keep it inside, no one will know. What about her parents? If she's in by 11, they don't care. And if they do ask questions, she was at the library. "It's either this or we have to stop seeing each other. You want that?" No, he says, leaning to kiss her, and pulling her on top of him.

Cue flashy jazz music. A nice, upscale jazz joint. Harry and Lauren sit close together. Harry has one arm around Laurn and his other hand is joined with hers on their knees. He wants to know if she's sure she wants to dance tonight. No, but she's pretty sure she needs it tonight. She claims nothing happened that wasn't in the teacher's handbook. "Occassional violence..hostage situations are possible...in these situations it is best to be rescused by a fellow teacher you're romantically involved with. This should be followed up by dancing. It's in there." He smiles and says maybe they should get to it. Her smile answers his and they stand. He makes a crack about dead musicians and she claims that it also says that they shouldn't talk on these days, just be there...and dance. As the start to sway to the music, Lauren lays her head on Harry's shoulder and squeezes him tightly. Relaxing, she lets her arms slowly rub his back, and her eyes get a very faraway look. They continue to sway to the music...

Fade to black.
