Haburin PAN

I am a Mongolian, started learning painting very early in my childhood. My first painting was a scratch of something with iron hook on the wall of my home. Strict education on painting began when I was a teenager in the middle-school. Since then I traveled a lot for art schools in northern China. Finally I got to the Central University of Nationalities, one of the reputed universities of art in Beijing, and achieved my degree after four years. I did not paint much after graduation but enjoyed teaching in a high school for two years, reading history and brewing ideas. I really began express myself with brushes when I came to USA with my husband.

I would say most art work was done during my school years and some pieces were really satisfactory as greatly influenced by the academic trends. Unfortunately most were lost. When staying in California, several big pieces were produced since 1998 as seen in the gallery. I will continuously collect my work on and post them on this webpage.
