Tenko was both an Australian and Uk production filmed between 1981-1982 , the series is about a group of English women in 1941 Singapore who are shipwrecked while they try to escape the japanese invasion, they are captured and put in a prison camp.They and their dutch companions must make serious adjustments in their lives in order to survive.
Tenko runs for 3 series detailing vividly the abhorrent treatment of women in prison camps during the invasion.
