At the airport in Egypt, the Isthars were waiting as planned.
Joey: No time for intro's. We got to hurry. We felt Yugi's pain and it's
starting.
Ishizu: Yes. The danger is starting. We must hurry if we can.
Minutes later, they arrived at the tomb of the Memory tablet. The group
enters without the Isthars and Pegasus.
Bastion: Okay Jaden. It's up to you now.
Jaden: Right.
Jaden holds up the three cards and by magic, Dark Magician, Dark Magician
Girl and Khuriboh were alive.
Alexis: Is this for real?
Joey: You bet Alexis.
Tristan: Hey guys. It's been awhile.
Dark Magician: Yes it has Tristan.
Syrus: They can talk.
Dark Magician Girl: Of course we can talk. I mean we were once...oops...I
mean we're human type Duel Monsters.
Dark Magician bows in front of Jaden.
Dark Magician: Master Jaden. We are ready to serve you into helping to
save master Yugi and our Pharaoh.
Jaden: Whoa wait a minute. I'm no one's master. But I like to be your
friend.
Dark Magician Girl: Yes. We would like to be all of your friends.
Jaden: What's next Alexis?
Alexis: The three loyal servants will open a doorway from the picture
marked Doorway. I guess this is the picture.
Tea: The Millennium Puzzle.
Joey: I guess Yugi was prepared just in case.
Dark Magician Girl: Open doorway.
The group was transported into the picture of the Millennium Puzzle.
Syrus: Where are we?
Bastion: Amazing.
Dark Magician Girl: Khuriboh knows the way. Follow him.
Meanwhile back at the lair in the other dimension, the Pharaoh was revived.
Pharaoh: Where am I? How did I get here?
Master: Welcome Pharaoh to the Realm of the Duel Monsters. My clan and I
managed to revive you into this dimension and gave you a physical form.
Pharaoh: What. The Millennium Items...(gasp)...YUGI. What have you
done to him?
Master: He will be fine as long as you help us. In fact, his energy helped
us to revive you since he was your previous vessel.
Pharaoh: How dare you speak like that to Yugi.
Master: This crystal orb contains Yugi's energy. However, if it
breaks...he will enter the Shadow Realm.
Pharaoh: So I'm in no position to make any threats. What is it you want
from me?
Master: Help us rule the human world. Guards, take him to the sanctuary.
The guards carried the Pharaoh away. Back in the Puzzle's labyrinth, Dark
Magician Girl asked a question.
Dark Magician Girl: So tell us about this Duel Academy?
Jaden: You've been there when Yugi's deck was visiting.
Dark Magician: But we were used for evil purposes.
Syrus: Wow. They know what happened that time.
Joey: Sure do.
Bastion: They're almost like humans.
Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl both made glum faces.
Bastion: Was it something I said.
Tea: Bastion, Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl were once humans
themselves.
Chumley: Were they really...
Tea: Yes. Their names are Mahad and Mana. Two powerful magicians that
were part of the Pharaoh's court. All three of them were like family. Sadly
the two were in Shadow Games and they lost their lives. They knew the Pharaoh
was in danger so they managed to transfer their souls into their own personal
Duel Monsters and helped the Pharaoh win the Ultimate Shadow Game.
Alexis: So are you saying that some Duel Monsters were actually humans
at one point. Now that's something.
Dark Magician: We appreciated if we didn't talk about our pasts. We served
our masters with honor and respect and our masters treated us the same way.
Jaden: Look I think Khuriboh has found the doorway.
They rushed over and opened the doorway and fell down a tunnel screaming.
Moments later, they all landed outside an ancient Egyptian palace.
Joey: Don't tell us we traveled back in time again.
Tea: Hey look at all of the Duel Monsters.
Dark Magician Girl: This is a section of our world. Some of us wanted a
portion of our home back in Egypt. So Yugi must be in the palace.
Dark Magician: Master Jaden. You and your friends must be ready for the
Ultimate Shadow Game.
Jaden: Ready guys.
All: Ready.
Jaden: Then let's get our game on.
