Yugi’s Priestess
Chapter 3

A week passed and I really got to know Yugi, his friends and his grandpa. As I was sweeping away the leaves that littered the front of the temple, I thought happily about what had happened. Yugi and I had gone dancing, and Yugi was a good dancer. I asked him where he got his moves and he had only laughed and said that a friend had showed him. We decided to take a stroll in the park, and Yugi had slipped his hand into mine! I was filled with happiness, I tried extremely hard not to start dancing with joy. As Yugi and I came toward my house, I had made up my mind to express my feelings for him, so just as he was about to go home after dropping me off; I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him!  And he returned it!! Yugi and I stood there in front of my door looking at each other for a while, finally slowly we separated and I opened the door, gave him a smile then went inside. As soon as I was sure he was gone I celebrated! I grabbed my mom and dad and swung them both around laughing, and mom was really excited when I finished telling her, dad thought that we should bring out some champagne. but mom gave him a look and he laughed.
I grinned to myself, after that Yugi would pick me up before school and walked me to work.
I saw him standing at the entrance looking for me, I called out to him and Yugi jogged over to where I was. Giving me a quick kiss, he asked how my day was.
"Whew! Busy, everyone is buying good luck charms. I guess it's because everyone is so busy playing Duel Monsters, they feel that they need all the help that they can get just to win one duel."
Yugi nodded sympathically. "Any trouble from that boy that bugged you the other day?" he asked.
I shook my head.
"No, and I'm really glad that's over with. I don't like it when people believe everything they hear, they've gotta start questioning whether or not what they hear is true."
He nodded. "I'm glad that he didn't hurt you too badly."
"Thanks Yugi."
"I'm going to go check out the charms and bracelets over there." he said.
"Okay, my shift ends in 10 minutes."
"Great, I'll see you at the front." I nodded and Yugi took off. I hummed to myself as I continued to sweep, a couple of minutes later I was putting away the broom, and was about to walk toward the front of the temple, when I saw Yugi. He was standing in front of a cherry tree looking at the blossoms that fell from it. I called to him, and jogged over but then I stopped. Yugi had turned but he had a surprised look on his face, I stared at him. he looked like Yugi but there was something about him, first of all he looked older, and his eyes were different. I stared at him for a minute, then the boy vanished! I looked around, but I couldn't see him or sense him. Finally I shrugged it off. Hmm must have just wanted to see the blossoms. I thought, I took off looking for Yugi.
