Learning his father had been killed by the Nazi Iron Jaw, Chuck Chandler sets off around the world to find him wearing his school hockey uniform and cape. This would be his Crimebuster uniform until 1950 when a girl would refuse to be seen with him in his ridiculous costume. From then on he dropped the cape and kept only the sweater with blue dress pants. CB also kept a pet monkey, Squeeks, who saved his life more than once!

Steve,
I enjoyed seeing the various expected and unexpected characters in the conclusion of your Captain Marvel story. However, I'm still curious about who won the election, both the one in your unidentified era and the current one. The Blue Beetle story is very nice; I rather wish I could appear in the next exciting adventure. The Fighting Yank story, featuring Bruce Carter the first, was one of my favorite things on Bill's Fighting Yank CD, so I don't mind seeing it again. As far as Kara goes, I read six pages and decided it was too dense for this time of night; I'll read it again from the beginning this weekend. Congradulations on another fine issue.

Thanks,
Jon

I'm glad you liked the issue! I was questioning the use of that Fighting Yank story since Bill had it on his CD. Until I read it anyway. Kara does indeed take some time to read and appreciate but I'm sure you'll enjoy it. As for who won the election, ours is George W. Bush, and in the unidentified year, I'd say it was either Truman or Eisenhower since my inspiration was an Atomic Age story. BTW, yours truly gets to go to President Bush's inauguration!!!!!

-Steve
