Why the DemocRATS just don't get it

So the elections are over and the Dems lost in a big way.  They are complaining about moral issues being the cause and other things.  They just don't get it do they?  Here is a helpful little hint to all of you Dems so that you can understand just why you lost.

1.  Most Americans see hardcore left-wing liberals as violent.  Don't believe it?
How about the two liberals who called themselves "Al-Pieda"?  They attacked Ann Coulter while she was onstage giving a speech.  True, they only did it with pies.  But still, isn't that called Assault and Simple Battery?  Isn't that a crime?  Why...yes, yes it is.
How about the case of the man who drove his car onto the sidewalk (at well over 45 mph) in an attempt to run over Republicans that were there supporting their candidate?  His defense was that, he was "trying to run over their ideas, not the people".  For those of you who do not know...that is a multiple case of attempted murder as well as attempted assult and battery (with an intent to terrorise and kill) with a deadly weapon.
One name...ELF.  The Earth Liberation Front.  If you don't know how violent they are, you just don't read the news.
One more name...PETA.  People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.  If you don't know how violent they are, you must live under a rock...just like PETA wants.
Moveon.org.  Let's see, from most Americans believing they are the people behind slashing the tires of 40 cars in Ohio that were to be used to ferry voters to the polls to threatening, bullying and also physically battering voters...nothing more needs to be said.  The list of their crimes is endless.
Here is an article that is very interesting...

RALEIGH, N.C. — An apparent mob of vandals attacked the North Carolina Republican Party headquarters, causing minor smoke damage, breaking windows and leaving vulgar messages, police said.

Three people were arrested.

In addition to the damage, the vandals left a burned effigy depicting President Bush and Sen. John Kerry, police said.

A police officer reported Friday night that about 100 people wearing masks and gloves were walking down a street near the headquarters, police Capt. D.S. Overman said.

Officers investigating that report found a second group "vandalizing and damaging" the GOP headquarters, said police Maj. D.R. Lane.

The vandalism was a "planned and orchestrated event," police spokesman Jim Sughrue said.

"This is not a political statement," Sughrue said. "A political statement is what we made Tuesday. This is a crime."

The officers found several spent fireworks, poster boards with slogans and spray-painted expletives on the walls. At least two windows were broken and police said it appeared that the vandals tried to put incendiary devices inside the building.

"The people who did this are sick," said Kevin Howell, communications director for the state Republican Party. "People don't understand that debate and elections are part of the process. This isn't how you act."

Scott Falmlen, executive director of the North Carolina Democratic Party, also denounced those responsible for the incident.

The three people arrested were charged with malicious damage to property using an incendiary device, a felony, Lane said. They remained in custody Saturday afternoon in lieu of $50,000 bail each, a jail spokeswoman said

There are more cases, incidents and groups to name...but this should give you an idea.

2.  Most Americans are sick of Liberal arrogance.
What do I mean by this?  I quote Gerodine Ferraro when she was on Hannity & Colmes the week of Nov 5th.  Speaking on the topic of the map that showed voting results as red (Republican) and blue (Democrat), "If you take away the blue and all there was was red...then there would be NO culture, NO education, NO civilization!".  So, basically, that means everyone but Libs are neanderthals living in the woods, taking dumps while they walk, without the knowledge of how to make fire...basically primitive cavemen.  But Libs are these god-like evolved beings who bring joy and light and culture to all of us.  BULLSHIT!
    BTW, here is the map.

It is comments like the one that Mrs.Ferraro made that most Americans are completely sick of!  You are NOT better than us.  You are EQUAL to us!  Go see a psychologist and get over it!

3.  Most Americans really do see Liberals as unpatriotic.
If you constantly speak out against America, if you constantly speak out on how America is evil, if you contantly speak out on how America has it wrong on all issues and everybody else has it right...what else do you really expect?  Simple concept...learn it.

4.  Most Americans think that Liberals do NOT have more morality than everybody else.  While most Libs do think they have more morality than EVERYBODY else.
Here is what gets most people.  Libs constantly try and prove that they have some mandate from a higher being that gives them the responsibility to tell us what morals we should have.  Well, whatever...  Most religions, Christianity included, believe that.  But when most of America is decidedly Christian and Libs don't subscribe to the morals and ethics of that religion...then they do not speak to that voting group and never will.
Support pro-choice?  Then most Christians will not vote for you.
Support gay marriage?  Most Chrisitians will vote against you.
You get the idea.  Now I do support pro-choice, I do support gay marriage, I do support stem-cell research...but I will still vote against the Lib candidates because they are part of everything I am listing here on this page.  Issues are not enough to sway "swing" voters like me because I am judging the candidate on many things...their party's actions included.

5.  Most Americans think that Liberals are hypocrites.
Please, if you need me to explain this, then you are blind and deaf or so completely bias in what you see and hear that there is no way for me to explain this.  I mean, Libs are supposedly anti-war.  But under Clinton we were involved in soo MANY "police actions" or "UN actions" that he puts Bush to shame.  How can one president be more right in military action than another?  How can the war in Iraq be wrong but everywhere Clinton sent us be right?
The answer is...they were both right.  How can the war in Iraq be right?  Most Americans, if you look at the polls, do believe the world is a safer place without Saddam.  Also it is safer because we are stabalizing the Middle East!  Besides, most Americans remember both the Dems and the Libs wanting us to go to Iraq and wage a war before Bush.  Why change your mind when he gets into office?  Simple...for political reasons.
Also, Libs supposedly support minorities in higher positions in the gov.  Then why did you strike down the minority Supreme Court nominations recently?  Was THAT supporting minorities?  No, it wasn't.  It seems more like you support minorities only when it serves your purposes, NOT when it is best for us.
The list goes on and on in this topic (I actually have nine pages worth of stuff on this, but I just left it at this in the final editing)....  But I will end it here.

6.  Most Americans think Liberals really are communist.
If you have Communist sign-up booths and tables at Liberal rallies you are NOT going to change that image.  If you try to bring Socialist and Communist ideas and programs to America you are NOT going to get America's support.  'Nuff said.

7.  Hollywood is Anti-American as well as corrupt.  If you stand with them, 99% of the time, you will not get elected.
Learn it, live it, love it.  If you don't...you will fail.  I mean, Hollywood is reprehensible!  I only need to mention two cases to get my point across.
First case...  Jennifer Anniston mentioned a time when she and her husband were walking down a hall and they came across one of Bush's daughters.  What did they do?  They offered her a beer while she was UNDERAGE!  If you are not offended by that then you will NEVER, EVER get the support of America's voting base.
Second case...  Read about or remember Hollywood's actions once the war in Iraq started.  'Nuff said.

8.  Gore's recount hurt your party.
If you don't see how, then there is no hope for you.  It was child-like, very immature and it hurt our country on many levels.  The way your party acted afterwards was even worse.  "Bush was selected NOT elected"...how very pathectic of your party...how very sad.  Most Americans saw that as unpatriotic and viewed your party as a bunch of whiney 3 year-olds crying over that issue.  If you can't be a good loser, DON'T TRY AND RUN IN AN ELECTION!

9.  Your love of the United Nations hurts you.
Americans, across the board, are starting to believe the UN is not needed as well as outdated.  Most Americans are also starting to think the UN is working agaisnt the USA because it hates us, like most of the world.  Most of America already believes the UN is very corrupt and in desperate need of an overhaul.  Most of America already thinks we should pull a lot of our funding of the UN away!
Want to know a secret?  Most Americans could care less that most of the world hates us.  WE are America.  We are the last remaining Super-Power left in the world (and we FOUGHT and EARNED that).  WE ALSO DO MORE TO HELP OTHER COUNTRIES THAN ANYONE ELSE!  They want to hate us because they are jealous of us and our strength, even though we bend over backwards to help and assist them!  Want to know what most Americans think of the rest of the world?  Here it is.  "Fuck 'em!".  Simple enough concept...if they hate us...fuck 'em.  We will help those that like us and want us.  Why should we try and make them like us?  THIS IS NOT HIGHSCHOOL OR A POPULARITY CONTEST!  Like in real life, there are those who are our friends and those who are not.  Easy.  'Nuff said.

10.  Liberals have a bad image.
I watch Fox News.  Get over it.  It really is the most fair and balanced new organization out there.  That is why they are beating everyone else in ratings.  Libs are mad about that but most people are tired of watching the Lib propaganda on ALL the other news channels.
What is my point?  If you don't want a bad image...why do you constantly send argumentative, rude and jerk-like people on that channel?  During the election campaign all the Dem and Lib representatives you guys sent to Fox were the most unlikable people I have ever had the displeasure to watch!
Case in point.  I was watching one debate between two women.  One a Rep, one a Dem.  The Rep representative to Fox was trying to be profesional and courdial.  But the Dem representative was actually looking for a fight!  She kept on saying, "Bring it on!" and not in a debate way.  You could tell she wanted to come to blows with the other woman.
It just isn't and wasn't that one incident either!  It seems most every Dem or Lib I see or saw is always distasteful and rude.  You want to change that image?  Send someone who will be polite, send someone who will be...GASP...an ADULT!
But doing that will not help completely...it will be a start...but it isn't the answer.  I actually have a list of about 48 things that is wrong with the Dem/Lib party...but I only put these 10 up because they are the ONLY points I think Dems or Libs would even contemplate.  The rest would just be ignored because of my reason #2!
Look, you want to do better next election?  Distance yourselves from Hollywood and any person or persons associated with it..  Distance yourselves from groups like PETA, ELF and Moveon.org.  Also, DENOUNCE them when they do something wrong!  SUE them or CONDEMN THEM!  Stop hiding what they do because by doing that you make people think you believe what they do is just, correct and give them credibility.  Most importantly, START BEING PATRIOTIC!  STOP badmouthing America , STOP thinking the United Nations is better than us and START being more polite and ADULT in general!  Also, the 60's ARE OVER!  Why the hell does your party still live in that era?  Get over it!  Most people see the 60's as a horrible decade and also honestly see the hippies as assholes!  ONLY YOUR PARTY still thinks the hippies are "hip".  BTW, here is something for you.  Thinking or even using the term "hip" isn't "hip".  It is outdated and very pathetic.

I will end it here with an article Zell Miller wrote in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution.  This is enough help your party deserves.  You have failed in most everything...but your biggest failure is to not listen to your voting base.  You guys seem to live only by the words of your leaders, who are in their own little world, and not by the words and beliefs of those who support you.  If you don't change, your party will die off.  'Nuff said.

I tried to tell you . . .
Democrats repel voters, who put faith in freedom

Published on: 11/04/04
America's faith in freedom has been reaffirmed. With the re-election of President Bush, America recommitted itself once again to expanding freedom and promoting liberty. Only the 1864 re-election of Abraham Lincoln, the 1944 re-election of Franklin Roosevelt and the 1980 election of Ronald Reagan rival this victory as milestones in the preservation of our security by the advancement of freedom.

This election validated not just freedom, but also the faith our Founding Fathers placed in average folks to navigate the course of this great nation. By weighing the greatest issues at the gravest times and choosing our path, ordinary people have again accomplished extraordinary things. With courage and caution, rather than fear and timidity, the voters chose a path to ensure others would enjoy the same freedom to set their own path. This election outcome should have been implausible, if not impossible. With a litany of complaints — bad economy, bad deficit, bad foreign war, bad gas prices — amplified by a national media that discarded any pretense of neutrality, a national opposition party should have won this election. But the Democratic Party is no longer a national party. As difficult as the challenges are — both real and fabricated — Democrats offered no solution that was either believable or acceptable to vast regions of America. Tax increases to grow the economy are not a solution that is believable or acceptable. Democratic promises of fiscal responsibility are unbelievable in the face of massive new spending promises. A foreign policy based on the strength of "allies" such as France is unacceptable. A strong national defense policy is just not believable coming from a candidate who built a career as an anti-war veteran, an anti-military candidate and an anti-action senator. Democratic Party policies haven't sold in large sections of America in decades, and the only success of Democrats in presidential elections for 40 years was when they pitched themselves as pro-growth, low-tax, strong-defense, fiscally responsible, values-oriented candidates. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton hummed the tune but never really sang the song, and that's why Democrat prospects have gone south in the South. In 1980, the South had 20 Democrats and just six Republicans in the Senate. As recently as 1994, the Senate had 17 Democrats and nine Republicans from the South. A decade later, the number had reversed to 17 Republicans and nine Democrats. With this election, it is 22 Republicans and just four Democrats from the South. When will national Democrats sober up and admit that that dog won't hunt? Secular socialism, heavy taxes, big spending, weak defense, limitless lawsuits and heavy regulation — that pack of beagles hasn't caught a rabbit in the South or Midwest in years. The most recent failed nominee for president stands as proof that the national Democratic Party will continue to dwindle. The South has gone from just one-fourth of the Electoral College in 1960 to almost a third today. To put this in perspective, that gain is equal to all the electoral votes in Ohio. Yet there was not a single Southern state where John Kerry had any real chance. Would anyone like to place bets on the electoral strength of the South by 2012? Maybe they should tax stupidity. When you write off centrist and conservative policies that reflect the will of people in the South and Midwest, you write off the South and Midwest. Democrats have never learned from the second or third or fifth kick of a mule. They continue to change only the makeup on, rather than makeup of, the Democrat Party. And so we have a realignment election. For the first time, in an "us vs. them" election and in the toughest of situations, Republicans have been re-elected to the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives. Confronting an opposition that can win a divided electorate in the worst of times and that has a growing electoral base, the national Democratic Party has a choice: continue down this path toward irrelevance or reverse course. As the last Truman Democrat, I hope my party makes the right choice but know I will not be allowed to be part of it. Such is the price you pay when you love your nation more than your party. And so while I retire with little hope for the near-term viability of the party I've spent my life building, I retire with a quiet satisfaction that after witnessing the struggle of democracy over communism and fascism, the fear I once held that America might not rise to meet this new challenge of terrorism has vanished like a fog under the radiance of a new dawn. While the threat is still real, the shadow looming across a promising future is gone. And the credit for that goes to one man. Like the last lion of England, Winston Churchill, George W. Bush has stood alone and risked all to give the world a new, clearer path to the advancement of freedom. Abraham Lincoln, in his second annual message to Congress, stated: "In giving freedom to the slave, we assure freedom for the free — honorable alike in what we give and what we preserve. We shall nobly save or meanly lose the last, best hope of earth." George Bush has injected into a region of enslavement an incurable dose of freedom, and thus nobly saved that "last, best hope of earth" — free men. — Zell Miller is Georgia's Democratic U.S. senator.
