In my opinion, Daffy is the best cartoon character EVER!!!  In all of cartoon land, there is nothing better than a greedy little black duck!  With his catch phrase, "Mine, Mine, MINE!!!!!!!!!", Daffy won me over when I was a young child.  It wasn't until that I was much older that I realized that out of all the cartoon characters, Daffy was the only one truly written for adults!  Example, "...i'm rich... I'm RICH!  I'm wealthy, i'm financially independent, i'm socially secure!!!!".  Now, tell me a kid that understands the real humor in that and I will show you a kid that should be an accountant!  LOL  :c)
    In the cartoon life span of Daffy Duck, he went through many incarnations.  At first he was just an annoying and loony duck that confounded hunters.  But as he evolved from that he became the classic hard working guy.  The typical type of guy who works too much and parties too hard.  He also had a wife and kids in many of the cartoons.  His best evolution is the greedy guy that I idolize!  There is nothing better than seeing Daffy go for the gold (literally) only to foul himself up!  That is something I think we can all identify with.
