So who is the Gnome anyway?
Well, I'm a first year Electrical Engineering and Computer Science student at the University of Cape Town. I'm also known as Omen_G (in network games of Quake etc.) or occasionally Gnomix. You can usually find me on the IRC on #south_africa on the Cape Town lagnet server (Babylon5.org.za or Reaper.lagnet.org.za) weekdays 3-5 p.m. CAT (or 8-10 a.m. Eastern US Time).
My interests include Windsurfing, AD&D and Magic: the Gathering. As far as music goes: Portishead - the all time greatest Trip-hop band - and U2 - read the transcript of the Cape Town concert.
