EPISODE #1: WITCH TRIAL
The Charmed Ones haven't dealt with any monsters or warlocks for a month and are trying to resume normal lives: Piper wants to open a nightclub; Prue is concentrating on her gallery; and Phoebe, still unemployed, looks into the sisters' heritage. The normalcy quickly disappears, however, when a powerful spirit named Abraxas steals the witches' Book of Shadows. Using the book, Abraxas resurrects some of the sisters' old foes, forcing the trio to defend themselves all over again.
EPISODE #2: MORALITY BITES
Phoebe has a vivid premonition foretelling her own death -- burned at the stake for killing a man with her powers -- in the year 2009. To prevent her execution, the sisters travel to the future. We also see Leo for the first time this season in this episode.
EPISODE #3: PAINTED WORLD
Prue has a client who brings a painting into the auction house, the painting is haunted and the sisters are sucked into the painting and must vanquish the demon who exists within and get back out before the painting is destroyed. Phoebe uses the Book of Shadows to cast a Spell to make her Smart so she can get a job. Piper's nightclub is in need of some Repairs, so she asks the neighbor Dan to help out.
EPISODE #4: THE DEVIL'S MUSIC
Phoebe experiments with more power and martial arts, this makes room for Devil Magic to happen and affect the sisters. Piper starts her night club with bad results.
EPISODE #5: SHE'S A MAN
An evil demon called a Succubus is luring men to their deaths, so Prue goes deep undercover by casting a spell that transforms her into a man.
EPISODE #6: THAT OL' BLACK MAGIC
An evil witch escapes a 200-year imprisonment and seeks to destroy the Charmed Ones. The only hope is to find a ''Chosen One'' who can use the witch's wand for good, rather than evil.
EPISODE #7: THEY'RE EVERYWHERE
The sisters run afoul of a group of warlocks known as "The Collectors", who gain knowledge by draining human brains.
EPISODE #8: P3 H20
Last year on the show, we learned the girls' mother Patty was drowned by a demon more than 20 years ago. Now the girls will come face-to-face with him. What happens is their mother was drowned at their summer camp and it is being reopened. The demon is killing innocent children at the camp. Prue, like her mother, must face her fears when she has to go up against him. Also, the girls meet up with a homeless man, Sam, who was their mother's white lighter and Piper and Leo (who appears in this episode) learn, they are not the only witch and white lighter to ever fall in love.
EPISODE #9: MS. HELLFIRE
After finding out that she has the power to astral preject and after being attacked by a hit woman in their home Prue impersonates the hit woman (a.k.a. Ms. Hellfire) to figure out what her mission was and who sent her. In the mean time Morris figures out that they are all witches and with Phoebe goes to save another witch Ms. Hellfire was supposed to kill. But when Prue starts to like being evil it could all get them killed.
EPISODE #10: HEARTBREAK CITY
Cupid's ring is taken from him by a evil dude name Drazi. And instead of using the ring for good Drazi plans on breaking up all of Cupid's passed relationships which in time will eventually kill Cupid. Since he has no were else to go Cupid asks the Charmed Ones for help.
EPISODE #11: RECKLESS ABANDON
Phoebe has a vision of a baby being threatened by a sinister ghost, prompting her to play surrogate mother. She brings the infant home and cares for it, while Prue and Piper try to determine why all the men in the childs family have met a sinister fate.
EPISODE #12: AWAKENED
Piper is felled in this new episode by a strange illness, one that traditional medicine isn't able to cure. That prompts Prue and Phoebe to take matters into their own hands, and while they save Piper, they unwittingly infect many other patients. Piper then tries to help others, assisted by Leo.
EPISODE #13: ANIMAL PRAGMATISM
Phoebe finds out that some girls of her study group have used a book of love spells to turn 3 animals into handsome guys for a romantic evening. They, however, keep some dangerous animalistic qualities and begin attacking innocent students. When Phoebe tries to reverse the spell, she turns all of her patrons into animals.
EPISODE #14: PARDON MY PAST
When a malevolent presence from a past life threatens Phoebe with a violent death, she casts a spell to travel back in time to 1924, where she discovers that she was seduced by an immortal warlock named Anton(Tyler Christopher), who convinced her to use the forces of evil to help him destroy Prue and Piper. Devastated to realize she once gave in to the dark side of her powers, Phoebe risks her present life in an attempt to reverse the past and destroy Anton forever. Meanwhile, Piper discovers that even in her past life she was forced to choose between Dan and Leo, and Prue finds out she was once a talented photographer.
EPISODE #15: GIVE ME A SIGN
Prue (Shannen Doherty) cannot resist the attraction she feels for her kidnapper (guest star Antonio Sabato Jr.) when she is abducted by a former flame who is fleeing a powerful demon.
EPISODE #16: MURPHY'S LUCK
Prue gets her first professional assignment photographing "the unluckiest woman in San Francisco" (guest star Amy Adams), but the photo shoot turns into a rescue when Prue realizes the woman is so tormented by her run of bad luck that she's willing to end her own life. When Prue learns the woman's string of tragic events are actually the work of a Darklighter (guest star Arnold Vosloo) Prue soon becomes his next tormented victim. Piper and Phoebe rush to save their sister from her own desperate suicide attempt while Leo intervenes making a selfless sacrifice in order to put an end to the Darklighter's powers.
EPISODE #17: HOW TO MAKE A QUILT OUT OF AMERICANS
Prue, Piper and Phoebe are visited by an old family friend, Aunt Gail (guest star Anne Haney). Aunt Gail asks the Charmed Ones to help stop a demon named Cryto (guest star Cameron Bancroft) who steals the skin from corpses. The Halliwell sisters learn that their Aunt has betrayed them, trading their powers for eternal youth and beauty. As the Charmed Ones plot to regain their powers, Piper has doubts about wanting her powers back at all claiming that being a witch is keeping her from a chance at true love.
EPISODE #18: CHICK FLICK
The Halliwells battle an illusion demon who has the power to unleash celluloid villains on society and brings to life Phoebe's favorite film character, Billy (guest star Chris Payne Gilbert), who remains in black and white while everything around him is in color. Using his newly discovered ability to bring psycho characters out of horror movies, the demon sends an axe murderer and a knife-wielding corpse to kill Phoebe, Prue and Piper, but they force him back into the movie and join him in an on-screen battle of good vs. evil.
EPISODE #19: EX LIBRIS
Phoebe tries to help the ghost of Charleen (guest star Rebecca Cross), a fellow student who was killed by a demon known as Libris (guest star Scott Lincoln) to prevent the publication of her thesis proving the existence of evil. With Prue's help, Phoebe and Charleen try to vanquish Libris before he can kill Phoebe, but are surprised to learn that Charleen's ghost cannot move on to the next plane of existence until she helps Prue solve the murder of another young woman. Meanwhile, Piper's efforts to get the nightclub ready for a performance by "The Goo Goo Dolls" are interrupted when Dan reveals unsettling news about Leo's past.
EPISODE #20: ASTRAL MONKEY
A doctor (guest star Matthew Glave) who treated Piper when she was dangerously ill has been trying to uncover the reason for her miraculous recovery and accidentally acquires the powers of all three Halliwell sisters during a blood transfusion. In a desperate effort to save his dying sister, the doctor uses his new powers to harvest organs from innocent victims, Prue and Phoebe help Piper put an end to the doctor??iolent house calls. Meanwhile, Prue gets a job photographing a handsome actor (guest star Jim Davidson) and ends up in the tabloids.
EPISODE #21: APOCALYPSE, NOT
The premise of this story is the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, which are War, Death, Famine and Disease.
EPISODE #22: BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WITCH FOR
Shannen directs the season's final episode. This episode will have Prue, Piper, and Phoebe joining forces to defeat a scheming genie who wants to steal their powers. The genie is played by 3rd Rock From the Sun's French Stewart. |
