A supernatural one-hour drama from Spelling Television, Charmed chronicles the conflicts between three vastly different sisters and their need to come together against the otherworldly backdrop of an ancient witchcraft prophecy. In the third season of Charmed, the three sisters are newly armed with the knowledge of an evil organization behind the steady stream of seemingly random attacks.

The three Halliwell sisters have always been different, not just from the world around them, but from each other. Though bound together by blood and destiny, these twentysomething women could not be further apart. The oldest, Prue, determinedly driven to succeed in life, disdains the free-spirited eccentricities of Phoebe, the youngest of the three. Piper, the earthy and creative middle sister, believes life is best navigated with a sense of humor and often finds herself in the role of mediator between the other two.

The siblings were willed the house of their childhood, which they inharmoniously share, a grand and mysterious Victorian manor that has been in their family for untold generations and defines the term "fixer-upper." Yet, the discovery that these three sisters are powerful good witches, foretold as the "Charmed Ones," creates a bond that reaches far beyond petty sisterly grudges. They must band together to keep their otherworldly witchcraft a secret and vanquish all comers. Complicating matters this fall is Piper's romantic relationship with Leo as it takes a surprising turn.

Created by Constance M. Burge, the series is produced by Spelling Television. Aaron Spelling and E. Duke Vincent serve as executive producers along with Brad Kern. Copyright 2001 The WB Television Network
