Find out what's in store for the Charmed Ones next season.

It is confirmed. The season four premiere will air on September 27th, and will be a two hour long episode (this date is for the USA).

Piper and Phoebe will be grieving over their sisters death, then Paige shows up. The writers want Paige to bring a fresh start and plenty of energy. In the beginning they'll be there'll be friction between them. Piper and Phoebe are stunned at Paige's existence, and Paige will have a little difficulty using her powers for good, and not personal gain, and she will have trouble adjusting to following their Wicca, and household rules. Her character will probably be careless, and she'll have to learn the hard way that she's not invincible, somewhat like Phoebe's character as the youngest used to be. Piper and Phoebe will have to come to the rescue many times before Paige starts to learn to control her powers, but this will help them bond as sisters.

Paige's powers should be similar to Prue's, but since her father is a white-lighter, they'll be differences.

After a few episodes, Paige's boyfriend will be introduced. One name mentioned is Adrian Gremier, who co-starred with Melissa Joan Hart, in Drive Me Crazy.

It's looking like Phoebe might get a new, possibly active power. Since she is no longer the youngest, her powers will strengthen. Piper will be the strongest.

For three spellbinding years, the Charmed Ones - Prue, Piper, and Phoebe - have used their witchcraft and the "Book of Shadows" to keep themselves alive as they save innocent souls and fight the darkest evil. Now, this season, the unthinkable will happen. The power of three will be broken forever.

So begins a new chapter in the CHARMED saga as the surviving sisters search for a way to stay alive and strengthen their fragile bond while they continue to vanquish the diabolical. The sisters find renewed faith in the form of an unexpected revelation: there may be yet another Halliwell offspring they never knew about - one who could reunite the power of three and return these virtuous witches to their former glory. They'll find that fighting the good fight is a deadly occupation, but one they were born to do.

Rose McGowan, who catapulted to stardom as a sexy victim in Scream, will join Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs as the newest bewitching sister on Charmed, it was announced today by Jordan Levin, Co-President, Entertainment of The WB.

"Both Alyssa and Holly Marie have set a high bar," said Mr. Levin. "In searching for the third member of the ensemble, we are truly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Rose McGowan and believe she will bring a new and different dynamic to Charmed."

Best known for playing vixens, McGowan left an indelible impression on audiences as a sexy scream queen flattened by a garage door in Wes Craven's Scream. She began her career starring in the edgy independent feature film The Doom Generation by controversial director Gregg Araki, for which she earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination. She has also starred on the big screen in the dark high school comedy Jawbreaker, Monkeybone and Ready to Rumble.

McGowan will play a long-lost sister to Phoebe (Milano) and Piper (Combs), and will be introduced when the series begins its fourth season this fall. Charmed is a supernatural one-hour drama from Spelling Television airing on The WB Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. ET. The series chronicles the conflicts between vastly different sisters as they come together against the otherworldly backdrop of an ancient prophecy of witchcraft.

Aaron Spelling and E. Duke Vincent (7th Heaven, Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place) serve as executive producers along with Brad Kern (Hill Street Blues, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, New York Undercover).
