Arguments over the Kyoto Protocol on climate change will be thrashed out at a conference in Auckland next month.
The February 20 event is being organised by the Employers and Manufacturers Association.
The association's chief executive (northern), Alasdair Thompson, said the aim was "to present better information than we feel we have been getting from the Government".
