Background: The Vote Mongerer... there's not much to say... WAIT! THAT'S NOT CARLO LOMBARDI! THAT'S VINCENT PRICE!... er... uh... anyway. VM here is a guy with the innate ability to win just about every election or any contest that involves voting, and some that don't. This is attributable to his ability to use mind control on the voters and cause them to vote for him. Having used this method to take over a few hundred planets and win a ridiculous amount of money, he has decided to come stir things up in Khazan. He masqueraded as PR Man in an attempt to win the election for the Skull party. Since the Boneheads are out of the FPL, and the election results haven't come in yet, Vote Mongerer has decided to take another crack at the FPL, having failed the first time around. With his ability to sway the vote, it shouldn't be too hard. So... VOTE FOR HIM, NOOOOOW!... bah. I'm not as good at that as he is.

This power should be fairly obvious. Vote Mongerer can control a person's thoughts. He uses this to force his opponent (and the voters.) to realize that he is the true victor of this fight and they will throw their support for him. You will vote for him, too. This is one of Vote Mongerer's backup plans in case his opponent, or the voters, are stubborn and won't yield to reason... or mind control. A good ol' fashioned mind blast oughta set them straight. So you better go vote for him now, as in NOW! VM has found it easier to weaken his Mind Blasts slightly. Doing so requires less concentration than normal and he can use them in the jungle. So look out, all you jungle-dwelling potential voters! MWAHAHAHAHA! Oh, it is still too taxing to build one up more than ten or so times. Beh. One or two should be enough to jar the voters' (And YOUR!) sense of reason.

VM's other backup power. Yelling "SLEEEEEP!!!!!" will cause his opponents to SLEEEEP!!!!!. While they are out... he'll kick them... or something... or give them dreams of voting for him. However, you can't hear "SLEEEEEEEP!!!!" at the mall, between the noise, hustle and bustle, and anime stores, so it doesn't work. And "SLEEEEEEEEP!!!!" is so taxing on the vocal cords that he can only yell it about ten times.
