I've seen "figures" standing near people and if I knew the person and asked them about it they ususally were not scared but would explain from my description that they knew who this "figure" or "figures" were.
I once saw a shadowy "figure" with a large head reflected in the computer screen from behind me the "figure" was outside my window moving I think from left to right the problem is I lived on the 3rd floor!
I have seen shimmering "ROPE LIKE" things descending from the ceiling, I have seen this on 2 occassions in 2 locals.
When I was in the AIR FORCE I mostly worked night shifts 2330-0730 I loved the shift but hated working on some KC-135 Tankers alone (don't remember tail #'s anymore). Footsteps could often be heard walking forward from aft of the fuselage when you look the sound would stop.
One of my best friends was touched once while sitting in either the pilot or co-pilots seat working on something she thought it was her co-worker being funny until she turned around to tell him to knocked it off and he was on the other side of the cockpit with his back to her!!
