Last night I attempted to view orbs while camping. I was seeing all types of things flying by some of which were buzzing very loudly. I decided just to call it a night. After retiring to the tent I decided to try one more time from inside the tent. I did and I saw many slow moving balls of light ascending and descending in slow motion. I thought these could be insects, so I turned on the flashlight and looked all around the inside of the tent nothing could be seen and nothing entered the light except dust, ah; you say, maybe it is dust I am seeing. I turned the camera towards what I knew was dust, the image was different. the dust floated by as one large mass not independent particles going off on their own. I suddenly realized they are everywhere around us seeing everything we do !!!!!!!!

Something you might find interesting; I no longer have the 200K CP IR source I now have one that is over a million CP.

I was out back (not in aussie land but behind my house) on the deck watching the occasional orb and the the occasional bug that would enter the frame (using the low intensity IR source from the CCD camera). Suddenly a moth appeared it at least had the characteristics of a moth. It entered the frame and quickly left hovering some distance away. I turned the camera toward the image and the "moth" zip away some distance and hovered again. This went on for quite a number of minutes until it finally flew completely out of sight.

My point is it appeared annoyed by the IR. Like the IR bothered it and it did not want to be in the direct beam. As long as I did not shine the IR leds of the camera directly on it it would just hover off to one side and remain there. The second I hit it with direct illumination it wanted nothing to do with it !

I have been in contact with local University about moth vision and if any one knows if they are IR sensitive (can't drink IR like some people can't drink milk I guess) everyone finds it interesting but one one knows the answer. And some people have not retuned my call, maybe they find my question to strange. I mention this because of my observation with the orbs and hoe they seemed bothered by intense IR. Perhaps some forms of "life" (existence) are.
