EXPERIMENT A
EQUIPMENT: a) 900 nm black and white Infrared CCD camera, possibly any IR CCD would work this happens to be the one that has worked for me.
b) VCR
c) monitor / TV
PROCEDURE I: Place the IR CCD camera in a dark room, in the dark in your your basement, actually any dark place where it can remain undisturbed.
Attach the VCR to the camera and the monitor to the VCR and start recording. If you choose to watch the monitor you will begin to see glowing balls of light that may change direction, appear and disappear, move quickly or in slow motion, move at ground level or high above the ground, some may move in a straight line or undulate like a snake, they may appear to drop down from above or soar up from below its hard to say. I have seen all of these motions. If you do not watch the monitor then check the tape after a few hours you will be surprised at what you see.

EXPERIMENT B
EQUIPMENT: a) 900 nm IR filter
b) any digital video camera
c) low wattage light source. Like a 5-10 watt flood light
PROCEDURE II: Place the filter over the lens of the camera. The lens should be opened all the way (focused on infinity). Place the camera as in procedure I. Place the flood light behind the camera pointing forward in the direction you are shooting. turn on the camera and let it run until the tape runs out then check the tape you should see many glowing balls of light moving about as in EXPERIMENT A
NOTE : You are encouraged to try this experiment with a IR filter and a UV illumination source.
