Carol Wood

Carol Wood was a 30 year old mother who disappeared without a trace on
August 4, 1996 from the town of Oswego, NY. Her family and friends love and
miss her very much, and are still trying to find out what happened to her.

On Saturday, August 3rd, she left her son with a babysitter while she
went out for the evening. She was last seen leaving Anthony's Bar &
Grill on East 3rd St. in her 1993 red Toyota Corolla at about 1:30 am on
the 4th. She was wearing a gray turtleneck style top and blue jeans.
She never returned home, and her car has not been found.

Carol has blonde hair and green eyes. She stands 5' tall and at the
time of her disappearance weighed 100 lbs. She has pierced ears.

In July of 2000, a Fulton man who was later convicted of murder was rumored
to have some connection to Carol's disappearance, but law enforcement
was able to determine that he didn't really know anything in the matter.

Oswego police still consider this case open. They would appreciate
any information on Carol or her car, NY license plate # R7L-871.
