Notes:   The Bulk Cruiser is an ageing cruiser; this class of ship has existed since the time of the Old Republic. This ship is extremely reliable and rugged; the cruiser has become one of the mainstays of the Rebel Fleet. Equipped with reasonable firepower and shielding, this ship is suited for almost any type of operation. It takes a fleet of these vessels to be effective against an Alliance warship.

These ships are also used by some corporations as part as their security forces for patrol and anti piracy and anti privateer purposes. These ships are used to protect their convoys from those aggressors. Local governments and corporations favor these capital ships. Even some mercenaries groups use these ships. The Bulk Cruisers are usually modified, since the original design was slow and expensive to keep fueled.

Ironic as it may seem, criminal organizations use make use of this vessel. A famous example would be the Black Sun's Bulk Cruiser XTS673.

These ships are also in use with the Imperial Navy in the Outer Rim Territories.
