Performing at the Swedish Melodifestival ABBA wins and goes on to the Eurovision contest.

The next few days were a whirlwind of press conferences and photo shoots.
The next few months finds ABBA touring all over Europe promoting "Waterloo "and "Ring ring."
Home and Stig throws a party for the winners.
May 3, Benny and Frida begin recording Frida Ensam in Stockholm. Benny is producing the album.

In the USA. They appeared on Wonderama and a few other broadcasts in the USA in Oct.

The girls rehearsed dances with American choreographer Graham Tainton for the upcoming stage act for ABBA. He said,
"Frida is extremely talented. She could've beena proffesional dancer without a doubt.
She made alot of progress and this gave her an even bigger interest. When we meet
we dance and dance, we can't stop dancing!"
The girls of ABBA will continue to take lessons with him through the years.

ABBA goes on tour around Europe.
Frida and Benny move from Vallentuna to an apartment on Gamla Stan. Björn and Agnetha had moved to Lidingö a few weeks earlier in Oct.

Also iIn April for the Bang a Boomarang video.
Frida had her hair curly until the perm began growing out . By the end of summer she was begining to wear it
more straight. By the time of the photo shoot for her Ensam album in the autumn.. it was no longer full of curls.
She had another new look.
November 10 Frida Ensam is released. It went to #1 on the charts.
“I’ve wanted to record a second solo album for a long time.
This time, I had no commercial or time constraints. I was able to choose
carefully the songs I liked with Benny. I took a great deal of pleasure in making this record.”

I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do is filmed during the summer for a TV program called Made in Sweden.
