FVB Scenery

Hello CFS fans, this page will be home to my new FVB scenery. I will add to them often probably as i have gotten to enjoy the creating process, creating rather simple bases that is. I'll leave the creating countries and continents to the pros. I will try and keep frame rates reasonable without leaving bare runways. I will introduce some entirely new runways in the future that will add entries to your CFS drop down menu. The JG26 campaign (if it ever gets finished) will add at least 2 new runways to CFS, if not more.

All sceneries require the Airfield Construction Kit textures at Combatflight linked on the links page, and the airport and VOD textures from Flightsim in the must have section. If you have installed these textures previously, you do not need to again. If you see black boxes, you are missing some textures. I will be using these textures extensively as I am not crazy about most CFS objects, so it will be worth it to get all those textures.

Fowlmere

FVB_Fowlmere

FVB_Fowlmere The first in the FVB scenery series will be Fowlmere, late war period, when the 339th Fighter Group was there. It is not historically accurate, but it does have moving objects, searchlights and a refuel area.

Debden

FVB_Debden

FVB_Debden A representation of the 4th Fighter groups home. Not historically accurate, or locationally. Just didn't wanna use a substitute, and am getting to enjoy this scenery creation. 4 runways, refuel, lots of trees, big hangars and some moving objects.

Manston

FVB_Manston

FVB_Manston Didn't like Blakeslee landing on a bare runway in my FVB_EurHS_2 mission, so I built a base for him :-)

Halesworth

FVB_Halesworth

FVB_Halesworth Home of the famous 56th Fighter Group "Zemke's Wolfpack". Fictional layout, features moving objects and refuel area. Missions on the way using it.

Abbeville

FVB_Abbeville

FVB_Abbeville Used with the FVB_Hybrid_2 mission. This one uses Ralf's buildings and Martins macros as always.
