Back when Bill Potvin introduced the CFO_Weather
add-on program, available at CFS Operations , he hinted that
combining the flights you could save and then re-fly with his program with mission files would
be possible. Well I have no idea why I waited so long to do it, but I seem to have succeeded with
it. So what you are now reading about is a mission that when combined with the included flight file, will hopefully add some extra immersion factor to the experience.
FVB_Hybrid_1 The new Hybrid style missions combine flights recorded with Bill Potvin's CFO_Weather program with regular mission files. The results are quite nice I think. You can add much more realism to the missions now.
This first one is based on a mission Francis S. Gabreski flew in December of 1943. I have included two different version for this mission. 1a uses the winter textures of Misho Katulic and winter classlist bgl of Martin Wright. 1b uses the standard CFS ground textures. Links are provided in the HTML read-me file where you can get the winter modification. I have included the FVB_Halesworth scenery as well.
FVB_Hybrid_2 The second in the Hybrid series. This one starts you over the channel in a stall, with low ammo and low fuel, with a Ace Spitfire stalking you. FVB_Abbeville scenery included as well. Uses stock planes.
