FVB Historical Series Missions


Hello CFS fans, this page will be home to my new Historical Series missions. I will still do some other fictional missions as well, but my focus will be mostly on missions based on historical fact. I will try and keep the historical series as close to fact as possible, though some sacrifices will have to be made in the interest of available resources, and/or frame rates.

FVB Eastern Front Missions


FVB_EFHS_1 The first in the new historical series will be a mission where you are flying with the great Russian Ace Boris Sapanov. You will need to destroy 50% of the Stukas and protect the ground forces as well. Requires the Eastern Front scenery at Combatflight linked on the links page, and the Polikarpov I-16-24 Rata winter scheme, available at Simviation in the CFS WWII Europe planes section.

Also included is an optional AI upgrade package for the I-16 Rata. Two missions included, one for use with the AI upgrade, one for the I-16 without using the AI upgrade. New style HTML read-me as well. Enjoy

FVB Europe Series Missions


FVB_EurHS_1 The first in my Europe series. You are Stephen Ananian of the 339th Fighter Groups 505 squadron on bomber escort when some "Stormbirds" come for a visit. Fowlmere scenery included, as well. You will need the Me262 JV-44 Adolph Galland Stormbird from Simviation in the CFS planes Europe section. A nice plane. Enjoy and look for more soon.

FVB_EurHS_2 Fly as James Goodson of the 4th Fighter Group on a rescue mission in a re-enactment of a mission Goodson flew in August of 43, saving his leader Col. J.M. Blakeslee. Very hard on Veteran and Ace level this one. 2 bases included as well. Make sure you read the included HTML read-me file. Enjoy!!!
