FVB2 CFS2 Page

The Hellcat on the hunt

This page will be home to the new CFS2 missions. As more missions are added more pages will be added also, just like last time.

For now I'm still learning the ins and outs of the new mission builder. Will keep hacking away at it and see what happens. These first ones will be mostly experimental type stuff. Then when I understand it better, I'll get into more serious, historical missions and campaigns.

The mission builder is really good, and is going to add a whole new level to offline single player mission play. Microsoft really went a long way on the offline aspects and it shows. The ai is much better, though could still use much work. It is much better than the CFS1 ai. I am looking forward to exploiting it all I can ::evil giggles:: ;-)

FVB2 CFS2 Missions

Fictional Mission

FVB2_One

This first CFS2 mission puts you in the Avenger on a mission to sink a torpedo boat spotted by recon. You must give it a taste of its own medicine and send a torpedo of your own. You must sink the boat to complete the mission. Take off from, then land back at the carrier, Bennington ,to end the mission. Watch out for the pesky zero. Fend him off with your rear-gunner as best you can. Take care if you bail-out, don't get taken prisoner. Oh, by the way, there's a storm on.

Fictional Mission

FVB2_Two

This one requires you to make your stock B25D Mitchell flyable. Take off from a carrier, seek and destroy a heavily guarded bridge, then land at Henderson Field in heavy surface wind.

Fictional Mission
