An early Saturday afternoon fire caused heavy damage to a Fox Lake home. After receiving a
call for a deck fire, the Fox Lake Fire Department responded only to see a large header from a few miles away that did not appear to be just a deck fire. Firefighters arrived to find a two story house with very heavy fire on the entire north side of the structure including the attached garage. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the main body of fire but remained on the scene doing a lengthy overhaul. Round Lake and Lake Villa FD's assisted at the scene. |

The Fox Lake Fire Department was called to a house fire in Spring Grove and arrived to find a
well involved ranch. Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire which caused heavy damage to the home. |
